authoritarian leadership, is characterised by moral obligation of all activities and little
participation from employees of the group. Autocratic leaders usually follow suggestions from
subordinates and make decisions based according to their own thoughts and opinions. Absolute,
centralised power over a collective is the symbol of autocratic leadership. As to when the
authoritarian style seems to be most effective based on a range of considerations, including the
circumstance, the job the team worked on, and the teamwork' personalities. If you often use this
management style with a group, understanding your style and the circumstances in which it is
most successful can be beneficial. With the reference to selected organisation which is amazon
they follow the autocratic leadership style as they have different department. The higher
authority takes the decision and communicate to all the departmental manager (Ayuningtias and
Yana, 2019). So that they can manage the activities of employees as this help Amazon to
perform the functions of an organisation in an effective manner. With the help of this they can
achieve the business objectives as this help selected organisation to complete their target.
According to the viewpoint of (Carter, 2020), as he has discussed that there are various
characteristics of autocratic leadership which include Enables individuals in the community to
have next to no information. Leaders are expected to make much of the judgments so that they

procedures. So, that it makes the community feel as if they aren't associated with key decisions
or duties. It has a tendency to build conditions that are extremely structured and static. This
means that they have to develop strategies so that they can communicate the decision to
employees in proper way. It Encourages ingenuity out and creativity also prevents innovation.
With the reference to Amazon, they leader of this organisation as this is the cases where a
company is constantly changing or facing a crisis, autocratic leadership can be beneficial.
Because of its streamlined organisational structure and ability to make fast decisions, it would be
able to respond to situations more quickly than other leadership types.
According to the viewpoint of (Smithy, 2019), An authoritarian leader exerts strict
regulation over his or her workers and increases motivation by enforcing stringent policies,
legislation, and punishments. Employees are not allowed to challenge the path they have been
given because his term is final. It works best in circumstances where precision is needed and
there is little space for error, like as the military. The author claim that while this management
style approaches that of a tyrant, it can be harmful rather than beneficial in the final analysis. Job
satisfaction suffers as a result, which can lead to turnover in many instances. There are, indeed,
certain strengths of autocratic rule. It enables rapid decision-making, influence over a firm's
programs and operations, and so on. In relation to the respective organisation which is Amazon,
that when managers are developing or managing workers who lack knowledge and experience,
authoritarian leadership is especially useful. Management style types, such as authentic
leadership, are more effective in organisations with more accomplished members. In this way the
selected organisation also develops the skills of workers so that they can maintain the
relationship between them. So, that they can put their efforts in order to achieve business
objectives.
According the viewpoint of (Lee, 2021), the advantage of this type of leadership and
management style is that decisions and input from top leadership will take quite some time to
reach workers in organisations with many layers of leadership. Since autocratic leadership is
delegated to a single individual, arrangements are in place quickly. When there is a simple
financial issue or a high proportion of advertised vacancies, an authoritarian style will quickly
put their skills to bear. There are several drawbacks, such as autocratic leaders still claiming
