Topic: Conducting an investigation on determination of the effected of automation on the
labor markets with all major technological development in the history”
BACKGROUND
In the recent times, technological advancement has grown to immense level. With the
motive to gain competitive edge over rivals business units of all sectors are placing high level of
emphasis on automation. This magnificent growth of the industry have a direct impact on labor
market in terms of both positive and negative. The present research is conducted to identify the
effect of technological automation in the labors market. This proposal presents methods which
will be considered by the scholar for addressing research issue or problem prominently.
AIM
The aim behind conducting present study is to ascertain the effect of automation on the labor
markets with all major technological development in the history.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Accordion to Daron Acemoglu and Pascual Restrepo (2017), robots and other computer-
assisted technologies take over tasks previously performed by labor, there is increasing concern
about the future of jobs and wages. The automation have increased in past 50 years with this the
labors with lesser skilled are not preferred by the companies (Humphries, 2017). This have
directly affected their job security and survival. Jobs are vulnerable of being replaced by
machines but it is clear that developing countries are more susceptible to automation compared
to high-income countries. The impact of advancement in technology is more seen on the labor
market of developing economies as these nations are more inclined towards adoption of
advances machinery and technology for enhancements of their economic perspective and growth
of the country. On the other hand in the views of Daniel B. le Roux1 (2018), the technological
revolution in the industry have an impact on the type of the work performed by the humans. The
invention of increasingly advanced machinery decreases, on one hand, the need for certain forms
of manual labor while, on the other, creating new needs and new types of work. Through
continuous cycles of this process advanced industries have emerged enabling standards of living
to rise across the world (Weber, 2017). This have collided with the growth of inequalities in the
economies in the nations which were previously democratic. Prompting debate over the

implications of the computer revolution for low and medium-skilled workers have emerged and
now this have become one of the essential skill of a person seeking jobs.
METHODOLOGY
 Research Type: The researcher will use the qualitative type for conducting this research.
This method will be chosen because it helps in understanding and evaluating underlying
opinions associated with issue.
 Research approach: Research approach used in this project will be inductive. Under this
approach observation will be take and on basis of that pattern will be drawn to form
tentative hypothesis. A through will be established on those patterns and hypothesis.
 Research Philosophy: the research philosophy that will be applied in this research will
be interpretivism (Ledford and Gast, 2017. The interpretation of all the data and
information will be carried out by the researcher.
 Data collection: In this research data will be collected from secondary resources. For
this, books, journals and articles will be referred. All the data will be taken from
authentically and reliable sources.
 Data analysis: The data so collected thorough secondary reteach will be analyzed and
presented in thematic manner. For each observation and theory so developed theme will
be prepared and information will be interpreted by the researcher.

CONTRIBUTION TO KNOWLEDGE
With preparation of this research I have gained an immense level of knowledge about the
present and past condition of the labors. This have been identifies by me that in past the laborers
were not given much importance but their significance have reduces with automation. One of the
vast change in this market is determined as before skilled labors were not that much essential.
However, in preset time to operate the machinery with advance technology, demand of skilled
labors have been increased. This research is original to its fact as all the secondary resources
have been taken and duly assessed to determine the information about the research topic for this
online and offline both library have been taken into consideration for accessing the books and
journals relevant with topic of the research. Along with this, such research has also improved
my research skills and understanding about methodology. With such skills, in the near future I
would become able to carry out further study more effectually.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have a great interest in writing specially journals, article and research papers. With
getting a recognition I can write the articles and Journals and my degree will give them a valid
authentication. I want to carry my research in a particular direction with studying past changes,
present circumstances and future prospective related with my research topic. I want to closely
follow the previous points and carry on the research to next level to prove the public with more
specific Knowledge of my research topics, also my researches would aim at providing assistance
to future researchers. Moreover, I also want to join this doctorate course to get a command over
propeller solving, finding relevant information and to determine how to work independently. As
I have done my masters but all the projects which I had done were complete in teams for group,
Alone I had done one project and that was a great experience and this is also one of the factors
which drives my passion for doing PhD.
This degree provides you a status of a DR which must not be a medical practitioner but
you get a prefix to your name as Dr. This gives a person social renegotiation and a status symbol
in the society which is an element that every person in the communist carves for. Getting PhD

degree would be the biggest pride for me as have this dream to carry out research for different
fields and enhance my knowledge. Along with this I also want to serve the society with
researching those topics which are still under explored and provide a vast ocean of knowledge
and skills to the community which they can use for ether personal bane fits or enhancing their
knowledge. The doctorate degrees is my passion and a dream which have lived with from past 5
years as with getting into graduation I was sure that want to do PhD.
