Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a well-known cloud service provider, which is popular for their products
and different types of services, such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and many others. It is a huge
vendor in the industry, as it has a large infrastructure and services, which makes it famous and popular
in the international market. AWS is providing their different services at low cost as compared to other
cloud service providers. There are some advantages of the AWS, which makes it different from others
( Barr , 2013).
Easy to use: AWS provides AWS Management Console to manage all the works in proper way without
any problem for new customers as well as existing customers. It provides well-documented web services
to better understand working of all the processes (DataFlair, 2018).
No Capacity Limits: AWS is always ready to provide extra limits to manage organization’s different
projects in a proper way without any issues at low cost. It can provide different services as per
requirement of project without any delay at minimum cost. Organizations can pay for what they used
(GARTNER, 2019).
AWS best facility is speed and agility, which is the first requirement of an organization. It provides high
speed in their services and organization can select any services as per their requirement and deploy
their application without any permission, as it is flexible and easy. It provides different tools to manage
our services, such as Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing. It provides best services to their consumers to
make a faith in them. It provides data storage facility with high speed, such as Amazon Glacier, AWS EBS,
and Amazon simple Storage Service ( Gupta , 2018).
AWS has different types of databases, which provides high performance, such as AWS RDS, Amazon
Dynamo Db, Amazon RedShift, and Amazon Elasticache. Amazon Web Services allows organizations to
innovate and scale while keeping secure environment. AWS provides privacy and security to thier
customer’s data with the help of proper monitoring at their data centres (Johnson , 2015).
AWS is best in their Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) service. It provides their best facilities to its customers
in low cost and it provides all those services with full security ( McLean , 2016). AWS has earned from
mainly Infrastructure-as-a-service, such as Netflix, and many other organizations (Kareem, 2018).
AWS also have some disadvantages from customer’s point of view, which makes it not suitable for all
the consumers. These are the disadvantages of AWS:
Limitation of Amazon EC2: AWS sets default limit on their resources and services that vary from region
to region, such as images, snapshots, and volumes. It provides a limited facility to launch limited
instance per area. However, organization can request to increase the limit of instance per area
( McLean , 2016).
Security Limitations: AWS has provided a strong security feature to their customer but it is limit in few
cases, such as EC2 Classic provides maximum of 500 per instance and each security group can have a
maximum of 100 permissions (Peter, 2016).

Technical Support Fee: AWS provide different charges for technical support on immediate basis. It
provides three types of packages, which are developer, business, and enterprise (Peter, 2016).
AWS also have common cloud computing issues, such as downtime, backup protection, and limited
control (Stackify, 2017).
AWS provides different services, which is directly connected with the HRM applications. These are the
applications, which can provide help into HRM application development, such as, Amazon System
Manager, AWS Auto Scaling, AWS OpsWorks, AWS managed Services, AWS CloudFormation, and many
others. AWS provides different developer tools, which provides full help to develop applications, such as
CodeBuild, AWS Cloud9, CodeDeploy, codePipeline, and AWS CodeCommit (Johnson , 2015).
CodeBuild is a best application developer tool of the AWS, which provides different facilities, such as
compiles source codes, produces software packages, and run tests that are ready to deploy within a
minute. Organization can build own servers to manage different development processes. AWS has
provided different services to develop Human Resource Management (HRM) Application development,
such as OrangeHRM. It can save time and money of organization. CodeBuild scales continuously and
processes multiple builds concurrently. Therefore, organization can build its own applications and they
are not left waiting in a queue. Organization can get started rapidly by using prepackaged build settings,
or they can create custom build settings that use their own build tools for development of applications
(Tajane, 2017).
AWS CodeStar is another service, which provides different facilities to develop, build, and deploy
applications on AWS. It provides a unified user interface, which enable services to easily manage
software development activities in a single place. It takes few minutes to deploy an application.
Amazon Corretto is another service, which provides developing facility to the customers. It provides a
dashboard to manage different things in proper way, such as JIRA software. In this dashboard, developer
case easily tracks their applications. AWS have many facilities to develop code and deploy it in an
infrastructure, which is also provided by the AWS’s IaaS (Tajane, 2017). There are many things, which
can create issues, which are technical issues. Those issues are related to instances per areas and
permissions per group. It is a bounded facility because of resources limitations. AWS Cloud9 is a cloud-
based integrated development environment, which can be useful for HRM application development. It
provides synchronization between the local and remote execution of different services
(whatishumanresource.com, 2019). AWS can provide inbuilt and customized HRM applications, which
are suitable for the organization. It provides services, which are secure and reliable for organization. It
can provide development facility to the organization as per their requirements ( Gupta , 2018). AWS
provide flexibility in the development of HRM applications to developers. It makes self-generated tests
for security checks and other privacy issues. It is a good way to test applications before launching in real
world. It also provides different testing modules for application development and testing, which are best
for checking an application. It supports designing tools that makes a different look of applications from
human interface point of view.
