INTRODUCTION
Knowledge is the information that a person receives on the behalf of past experiences and
from the things that are happening in the present. Information that a person collects from all the
things that are happening and their past experiences accounts to their knowledge (Etzkorn and et.
al., 2018). Creativity on the other hand is the use of information so collected so that new and
innovative results or outcomes can be reached. During the BA (Hons) Business Management
course a student gains knowledge and skills which helps them in becoming aware about their
social and ethical responsibilities and helps them in their self development. In this report how a
student can face the challenges during their university course will be discussed along with skills
and knowledge developed during their course study.
TASK
How and why you have developed as a learner
During the BA (Hons) Business Management course I have developed various skills and
knowledge which will help me in future in dealing with various aspects of my personal and
professional life. I was able to acquire Bucks Graduate Attributes which focus on developing
innovative leaders by enhancing their creative and professional capacities so that the
employability of a student increases in today's competitive market (Carmeli and Paulus, 2015).
These attributes helped in enhancing my problem-solving, critical and creative thinking and
inquiry based learning skills. Also they helped in my overall self development by making me
more aware and responsible about social and ethical values and made my leadership skills better.
During the BA (Hons) Business Management course my skills and knowledge regarding
business, marketing, finance and project management also got developed which can help me in
my future career prospects. During this course I acquired communication skills which will help
me in dealing with work-related problems efficiently by better understanding the requirement of
my job and communicating with my managers and co-workers so that problem solving can be

made efficient which will help the company in making huge profits and thereby enhance my
career prospects. This course also helped me in developing a lifelong knowledge so that in the
present scenario where knowledge and critical thinking plays an important role in building a
career can help me getting ahead with my academic learning. Higher education gained by me
will make me more qualified to apply for jobs in big organisations. Also the course helped in
acquiring technological and digital based knowledge which is very important in the present
scenario where the usage of technology has increased exponentially. This will help me in gaining
a competitive advantage in the market as along with my theoretical knowledge my practical
knowledge and skills are better than other competitors. I also became good at data interpretation,
working with numbers, presentation, manipulation which can help me in creating a career in
finance field. I am a quick learner and all these knowledge and skills acquired by me will help
me in my professional life and help me in becoming successful.

This course has thus helped in my overall development both in studies and in my
employability which will help in becoming more qualified and learned to get jobs in high paying
and reputed firms.
Reflection on approaches to future challenges and expectations of university course
I have chosen BA (Hons) Business Management course to enhance my learning and
knowledge in areas such as finance, marketing, business and project management so that I can
become more learned and qualified to apply in higher education and also to get job in a good
firm. The course is however not very easy to complete and has my challenges and expectations
so that a better understanding of the course can be created and an in-depth knowledge of the
various fields related can help the student in their overall development (Komives, 2016). The
course is not merely just theoretical and also expects the students to have good practical skills so
that the knowledge and skills acquired can be practically applied so that the overall development
of the student can be done in work-related field. For this I am working on my practical skills and
I try to apply everything that I learn in class in my daily routine so that I can become more
competent as a student and as an employee. The course also expects that their students do not
need a structured and time scheduled learning and that they can adjust their learning as and when
required so that important decisions in practical business life can be made at the time of critical
decisions. For this I am working on my critical and analytical thinking process so that the
situation can be deeply studied and both the positive and negative outcomes of my decision can
be analysed. This will help me in becoming a good decision maker in business and make the
business successful by taking appropriate decisions. Also the course is working on creating
technological and digital literacy which will help the students in becoming competent in the
competitive market where technological knowledge. For this I work on computer and try to
develop my knowledge on different software so that I can generate an understanding about the
technological aspects of the computer. This can help in coming up with creative solutions related
to technology like developing an app so that marketing of the company can be more efficiently
and effectively done. This will help me in my career prospects and keep me ahead of my
competitors (Mittal and Dhar, 2015).

CONCLUSION
From this report it can be concluded that during a course various skills and knowledge
related various aspects are learned by the students which can give them competitive advantage in
the market by making them more qualified and competent both at studies and in work-related
areas. They also help the students in becoming creative by applying their critical thinking
abilities in various areas so that solutions to problems can be found out which helps them in their
personal development.
