Introduction
Time management is one of important skills for a successful student. It allows them to
manage their time in effective manner and complete all work related to academics on time
(Wang, 2019). It is important for them in order to balance work life that allow them to spend
time for different activities like for studies, for having fund, spending time with family and
other things. This project report includes time management and different time management
strategies. It also consists important of effective time management and strategies of time
management. Moreover, it consists recommendation for students in order to improve their
time management skills.
Time Management
Time management can be described as process that is related to planning as well as exercising of
control over time spend by a person over different activities with aim of increasing effectiveness,
efficiency and productivity. It helps to make balance over different demand of a person for different
things like work, family, hobbies, social life, commitment and personal interest and nature of time
(Won and Shirley, 2018). Time management helps to effectively provide choices to a person on
spending and managing it over different activities by their own expediency and time. There are
different strategies and tool and individual use these in order to complete different projects, task
and goals in order to complete a project on time.
Time management strategies
There are different strategies to manage time effectively that allow them to manage time in
effective manner. Some of these strategies in context of time management are mentioned
below:
Know how to invest time: It is important for a student to understand how to invest their
time in effective manner. For this, individual needs to record everything they needs to do and
also evaluate this for one or two weeks. O basis of evaluation, students need to understand
which task are time consuming, for how much time students involve in productive work. On
basis of this analysis, individual needs to understand which activities are more important and
needs to invest their time on those activities.
Set priorities: It is also important for business to set different priorities as it allows them for
complete important work first. For this, students also need to understand different between
urgent and important work. Urgent work dominates schedule of a person but if these urgent
works are not important, students can cancel them (Tabar, Ghassemzadeh and Tohidi, 2019).
Use of planning tool: Planning tools are important for business as it allow a person for
purpose of improve their productivity. It is also important for them in order to manage their
time in effective manner. There are different tools included for planning process including
calendars, notebooks, phone apps, panners and other things.
Effectiveness of time management
Time management process is effective for a student as on basis of it, they are able to complete their
work on time. It is important for them in order to manage stress in effective manner. It is also
important for a person in order to reduce last moment pressure and stress over them. O basis of
this, students are able to focus on their most important goal that is enhancement of their

to study and also does not create negative impact over creativity of students. It allows them to
maintain good work life balance.

Effective time management strategies are those which allow a person to complete work on time and
helps them to saves time for different productive activities. There are different strategies to be
