Introduction
Organisational is a considered as a group of people who work collectively in order to obtain the
objective of the business. Organisation is a system which can maintain each and every business
activities systematically in a structured form ( Bui, SELVARAJAH and Vinen, 2021 ). The prime
motive of this assessment is to discuss about Woolworths organisation which is Australian
multinational retailing corporation established in the year 1924 and its headquarter in Bella Vista
, Australia. This adjustment will provide a reflective summary related with the job position
marketer in context of retailing industry.
Reflective Summary
On the basis of self assessment, have analysed that I am interested in marketing field and I want
to become a marketing manager in a well established organisation. In this time, retailing
industries are doing very well and providing high quality is of products and services in order to
the specific requirements of the customers ( Elhajjar, 2021). As per my self evaluation, retail
Industry is more progressive industry and the scope of this industry is more because it can
connected with lots of employer and employees. To get a job in retailing industry as a marketing
manager, I need to develop some it skills so that I can effectively work to achieve my career
goal. In Australia, Woolworths is considered as the large retail supermarket chain which is
providing high quality of goods to their customers and my aim is to get marketing manager job
in Woolworths organization so that I will shape my career to join reputed organisation.
According to self assessment, I need to improve few skills and competencies like leadership ,
technological skill, critical problems solving skills, effective communication skills, time
management skills, knowledge about digital marketing. To improve these skills and
competencies , I need to prepare a plan and schedule my day in structured form so that I can
continuously work to improve my skills for to full fill the requirement of my future goal
(McFarland, and Dixon, 2021). I have generalized some specific strength which can be a plus
point for me to improve myself and achieve my goals. I have effective communication skills,
analytical skills , good knowledge about the market and latest trends and apart from this I am
also good in public relations and I can easily make friends and maintain good network. I require

to shape my existing skills so that I can use this to accomplish my career goal. There are various
duties and responsibilities need to perform by marketing manager of retailing industry such as
research & evaluate the new goods opportunities, requirement of the potential goods and
services, execution of marketing strategy, formulation of marketing plans, products development
manage marketing teams and many others ( Raska, and Weisenbach Keller 2021). I need to
work constantly toward my goal which will help me to become more capable to perform all the
duties and responsibilities related with the marketing manager in the retaining organisation.
Marketing manager is responsible to improve the selling process of the retailing industry and I
am looking forward to develop my skills and enhance my knowledge so that I will accomplish
my life objective.
