right balance between the present NIMH market and the new method of the ultra-capacitor
market. Various types of strategies can be used for to make a business successful. Each strategy
has different concepts and analysis. Over the years, the rechargeable battery can be used for
many purposes. But today, the lead acid battery can be commonly used for power supplies
vehicles for indoor operation and the applications of boats and submarines, in forklift trucks and
also it can be used in golf carts. Nowadays, the demand of many portable electronic devices like
laptops, computers, mobile phones and music players are fulfilled by the makers. Also it
satisfies the customer needs, with new sizes.
The objective of this report is to manage and check the standard approaches, to assess the
emerging market opportunities and its growth. Further, the financing criteria for a new business
and innovation will be found out.
2. BACK BAY BATTERY PERFORMANCE
The performance of Back Bay battery delivers a couple of batteries. One is Nickel Metal

4. ONLINE SIMULATION
In the process of online simulation, from the year 2012’s news reports, it was noticed that
there was 37% increase in sales of, power tools. As a manager, it was decided to keep the unit
price of NIMH batteries as $10.00 and the price of Ultra capacitor was decreased from $20.00 to
$18.00. This would help to increase the revenues from NIMH, which is still used heavily in all
the fields. Besides, investment of $1 million in energy density of NIMH batteries along with $4
million in Ultra capacitor was made. The price for NiMH batteries was kept same, for another
two years i.e. from 2013 to 2014. Despite the news reports that, the overall sales of Two Way
Radios and Power Packs have been declined. Further, in the news reports of 2015 it was found
that the competitors are requesting price reduction because of mature competition. Thus, I
decided to reduce the price of NiMH batteries to $9. However, to be competitive in the market
10 per unit is required. But, still I found that the revenues of the company dropped heavily and
the profit was slowing down. Later, I found the reason for the decrease in the sales of this year. I
analyzed that, next year the competitors will need more price reduction. So, I reduced the price
rate to increase the sales. The simulation ended there and did not allow to proceed further.
5. CONCLUSION
