and critical thinking ability in the person. This report is going to present a project plan for the
management of a summer shoe product and its designing and development. The management
and the planning of the project needs a lot of efforts and the right use of the approaches and
the methods at each step in order to achieve the business objectives. The project plan

TASK 1
PROJECT AIM
Implementation of a successful project plan includes a variety of subtasks that should be kept in
mind so that the product can be completed efficiently and effectively within the given time
period. There are various skills that need to be developed and many resources that are required
for achieving the end goal. The business project of launching brand new summer shoe for
BareFoot that can give competition to the big brand needs a deep analysis of the market too.
As of a project manager for the BareFoot the responsibilities include drawing a project
structure, analysis of the product, identify and resolve the conflicts in different parameters,
maintaining quality and within the limited time. There must be a clear vision or goals which
would be achieved using smart approaches with efficient resources (time, raw material,
manpower, money, etc.) and these goals must be time-bound, measurable and unambiguous.
The main aims and the objectives with respect to BareFoot to accomplish the goals smartly are
as follows:
ï‚· Creation of a brand new Summer-Shoe that can give competition to big brands like Red
Chief and Woodland.
ï‚· Adding approximately 7 shops to the market of the UK by the end of the year 2019.
ï‚· To produce a budget plan for the product so that the cost can be maintained easily.
ï‚· To raise the share of BareFoot in the market by 2019 up to 12 to 18%.
ï‚· To increase the shareholders of the company in the upcoming 5 years.
ï‚· To analyze the market strategically to understand the position of the company in the
market.
The objectives are clear and unambiguous end goals which the company has to achieve. All
these aims can help in increasing the sales of the product and will also help in increasing the
overall revenue of the company. These aims add value to the company and will help in
increasing the brand value.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN
A project plan can be defined as the guide to the control and the operations of any project in a
well-documented and standard way. The main purpose for which a project plan is created is
that the defined goals for the project can be achieved efficiently with minimum resources and
in an effective manner (Crawford, 2014). A good project plan may consist of several aspects,
few of them are:
ï‚· Other resources and Risks
ï‚· Scope
ï‚· Cost
ï‚· Communication
ï‚· Time
PROJECT SCOPE
The project scope, as the name defines, is the boundaries and the limits that the project
manager should keep in mind or which are available to complete the project. In other words, it
defines the extent of the project and the responsibilities for the project manager (Mirza, et al.
2013).
ï‚· This project aims to produce a luxurious summer shoe brand.
ï‚· The project manager needs to analyze the market strategically so as to grab the market
as much as possible (Mirza, et al. 2013).
ï‚· The accomplishment of aim needs the development of innovative skills for brand a new
collection (Mirza, et al. 2013).
TIME AVAILABLE FOR PROJECT COMPLETION
There is a limited and short amount of time before which the project must be completed. Being
a project manager, the planning of each stage for the completion of the project needs to be
done and the time period for each operation needed to be set. For doing so; a technique of

network structure can be used which can help in identifying the shortest possible time for
completion of the project. In this networked structure, the project manager will identify a
critical path. That critical path will help in the completion of the project on time (Harrison and
Lock, 2017).

REQUIRED RESOURCES AND COST
For sure, having a well-established budget will help in controlling and managing the total cost of
the project. The cost of the resources that are going to be used in the project must be
estimated in a proper manner.

MANAGING AND SCALING TIME
The different phases of the projects should be accomplished in the decided timeline since the
project is going to launch at the beginning of February 2019. The scaling of time will allow us to
cope with the "extra time left" and the "extra time needed" in different phases of the project so

A PLAN FOR ESTABLISHING COMMUNICATION
A project management plan cannot be established without effective communication. Planning
for communication would help in defining a clear flow of information and maintaining
transparency throughout the project. The mode of communication can be decided in the
communication plan too. Effective communication and reporting will help in successful and
effective creation of the product.

RISK FACTORS
The project risk must be clearly addressed in order to meet the specific criteria of the project. It
is important to analyze the impact of risk and its probability of occurrence. Analysis of risk is a
complex task that requires several skills and knowledge. The risk plan either eliminates the risk
or prepares a response plan in order to fight with the risk.
Risk Impact Mitigation Strategy
Describe Risk
May affect time period,
scope, cost and other
resources of the project.
Plan the steps for rescuing the
frequency of risk.
Describe Issue Assessment of the risk impact
on the benefits.
All the necessary approaches should
be applied to resolve the issue.
Describe dependency
Understanding all the
external efforts that make the
project dependent.
Keeping the external efforts in
integration with the designing by
developing a communication
