behind using this method is that it is process of gathering as well as examining the numerical
data. Aim of the quantitative research is to understand relationship among dependent and
independent variable in population (Kumar, 2019).
Research design
This is related to overall strategy that select for integration of various components of
study in logical manner to address research issue. This mainly constitutes blueprint for gathering,
measuring and analysis data effectively. Exploratory, experimental and descriptive are different
types of research design. The experimental research design established relationship among effect
and cause of situation. This is causal design where one can observe effect cause through
independent on dependent variable. This kind of research design mainly contributes to solve
specific issue through manipulating independent variables for observing change they have on
dependent one. In descriptive research design, an investigator is interested in explaining situation
under research study. Investigator uses the thoughts and ideas on subject to explore theories. An
investigation defined the unexplored aspect of details and subject regarding how, why and what
of research questions. The exploratory research design is mainly used to explain and expand
theories and ideas of an investigator. It is mainly used to elaborate on unexplored aspect of
specific topic and explain missing pieces (Mackenzie and et. al., 2012).
Data collection
It is explained as process of gathering the information from relevant sources to search the
answers to research issue, test hypothesis and examine all the outcomes effectively. The data
collection methods are of two different types such as primary and secondary. In primary method,
information has been collected by using the different sources such as observation, questionnaire,
Document Page
focus groups etc. Through use of this method, researcher collects the fresh information and for
the first time. Other than this, secondary method provides the information to researcher quickly.
The different sources included in secondary data collection method are books, internet sources,
scholars, articles and others (Mackey and Gass, 2015).
Justification- In present research, there has been primary data collection method used and
develop questionnaire. The questionnaire gives the quick, cheap and efficient way to obtain the
more information from large sample size. Data and information can be gathered quickly because
an investigator would not require to be present when questionnaire were to be finished.
Sampling
This defined to be the most essential aspect of the research methodology as it aids the
entire project in right manner to generate valuable outcome. This section of methodology is
encompassing over two approaches like probabilistic and non-probabilistic data sampling.
Therefore, suitable selection of sampling is imperative for the researcher to aid the project in
right manner to generate accurate outcome (McCusker and Gunaydin, 2015). Sample is mainly
replicates from the original population. In this existing project sample is mainly being select via
applying random sampling tool from the probabilistic approach, thus it is the most suitable tool
to gather information. In addition to this, the selected sample are the 30 tourist who are belongs
from the age group of 20 to 60 and effectively formed by UK citizens who travelled to Bali or
have booked a holiday in Bali in the next 12 months. The participants are mainly hired through
UK travel groups on social media and the participants will be selected randomly.
Ethical issues
In the execution of an examination work, ethics are needs to be considered by the
researcher as it is the essential commitment of the researcher is to follow all the exploration
ethics and standards with the end goal of better execution of the work without confronting such
an issue and challenges (Miller and et. al., 2012). In the context to this present investigation both
primary and secondary research are executed to gather valuable information, however, there are
assorted aspect like access, time and cost are the key thought which should be organized by the
researcher in the way of achieving proper result, hence in this primary research will be the most
considered part to accumulate essential data and it is significant for the specialist to guarantee
their respondents about the well-being and security of their private data. Likewise, researcher
additionally ensure about the entrance of the sources as the data should be accumulate through

the genuine sources and the endorsement by means of the respondents are required show the
assent of members. Moreover, specialist likewise needs to oversee time and cost to better
execution of the project, hence time scale is should be intended to better execution of exercises
with proper time and cost the board is basic to lead all the exercises without making any sort of
delay in project completion (Quinlan and et. al., 2019).
Reliability and validity of the study
Reliability as consistency degree with instrument measures attribute this is mainly
designed to be measure. It is assured through reducing measurement error sources such as data
collector bias. It was reduced though an investigator that one to the administer questionnaire and
the standardising situations like exhibiting the same personal attributes to all the respondents. On
the other hand, validity is instrument that mainly used to measure. Content validity is an extent to
which instrument represent factors under the study. To attain the content validity, questionnaire
considered variety of the questions on visitor’s knowledge (Riedl, Davis and Hevner, 2014).
Limitations
In conducting the present investigation, there are some limitations. Researcher faced the
issue in collecting information by different sources. Other than this, time was not appreciating to
an investigator for performing all the research activities (Scotland, 2012).
Appropriateness of the research design
There has been descriptive research design used as it is more effective in provide the
detailed information regarding specific subject area. It can use effective research method to
investigate one or more than one variables. The main aim of descriptive research design is that it
systematically as well as accurately explain the situation or particular area (Silverman, 2016).
