INTRODUCTION
Conference and banqueting are defined as the people who go out for attending the event
to make it memorable. Event is something which is related to happening as occurrence. These
are organized based on their nature as organize by the company (Fotiadis and Vassiliadis, 2020).
It is important for the event company to ensure that all the services have been provided for the
better evaluation of the event.
Four season hotel London at the park lane is located for the sightseeing and for the shopping and
also provide the access to the capital's theatre area. This report covers the area which involves
the information regarding different type of the events, also the professional etiquettes for the
successful event management industry. It further illustrates the analysation for the key strategic
and operational issues, also define the knowledge for the food production system.

Different type of the events:
Event involves all the aesthetic and ergonomic factor for the successful completion of the event.
It is mainly involves the people gathering for any purpose. As per me I have experience the
events which are listed below:
Conferences:
Conferences are often organized by the businesses, it is the main business event in which the
business party meet for their business purpose they share their views and opinions to increase
their productivity. For such event the professionalism is must have required, therefore for that
purpose event company arrange all the services accordingly which can meet the client demand.
As for the Four season hotel London they have provided all the services as the aesthetic
decoration for organizing this event (Corallo and et.al 2019).
Seminars:
Seminars event are mainly organized by the educational organization, also company can conduct
such for their employees to give them training sessions to enhance their knowledge about their
company's work culture.
Team development event:

These events are organized by the firms to educate their employees to encourage them to aim on
developing the team building activities. Or to work as a team to achieve the common goals of the
organization.
Trade event:
Trade events are mainly the exhibition event which involves all the traditional item this event is
visited by many people from across the world. Therefore, it is mandatory for the event organiser
to provide all the facilities.
Game events:
This event is usually arranged for the sport games in which the team plays this is majorly for the
entertainment purpose of the people. It is visited by the foreigner people it can organise at the
international level.
Wedding events:
It is the most common event in which the main aim of the event manager to ensure all the
activities are arranged in a order or to provide better or aesthetic hall to the clients.
Community events:
These are the events which is organized for the betterment of the communal people in which the
various stakeholders take part to support the community people to provide them better access to
the resources (Kingston and et.al 2021). These are arranges in a systematic manner, to provide all
facilities which mainly involves the ergonomic facility.
Hallmark event:
These are the event which generally involve the strong pride which shows the cultural beliefs
and fairs, these are organized at the international level or can be organize once or for the regular
basis.
New product launch event:
It is the event which is for the company who invited their potential customers and the
stakeholders to launch their new product.
Therefore these are the event which I have experienced and the Four season hotel London
provides the better resources to the evaluation of the event as they have good work force team
which is able to ensure the better services for the clients, due to this they have good position in
the hotel industry (Herbane, 2019).

Etiquettes define as the polite behaviour in the society or to behave in a good manner with the

other, therefore it is good to possess the etiquettes for better achievement of work.

same, as well as platinum etiquettes define as to treat the others as they have expected to be
treated. Professional etiquettes are very important in any event for the successful completion,
Etiquettes for the business event:
The etiquettes to be followed in business meeting as both male and female should greet it is not
necessary that only one of them have the responsibility to do this. For the event manager they
have the main duty to manage all the resources for the event, therefore it is important to come
before meeting, as it is unprofessional to come late regardless of some circumstances in such it is
responsibility to inform others (Sealy, 2018). Personal grooming is most important as top dress
in formal for the business meetings, also the badges of the name should be on the right shoulder
so it gives the professional look or to make it good for the easy read. It's better to open the door
for others irrespective of their gender
For the business meeting the decoration should be elegant or simple not so vibrant as full
of different colours. Vibrant look does not give the business meeting vibes, therefore it is
important to maintain the manners in the behaviour for better appearance. The better way to start
with the business meeting as to first introduce which gives the opportunity to stand out in the
crowd. At restaurant, it is good to be seated with others, or always to begin start with others not
earlier than it does not give the good impression. Eat the food by breaking it and do not eat fast
after done with the eating then fold the napkin on the left side it shows the good manners. It is
always better to start with to thank the other workers as the junior staff as it shows the care for
others also other feels that the person is good for taking the responsibility. Therefore good
behaviour is always beneficial for growth as it directly impacts the others which is good for the
recognition (Stanton, Salmon and Walker, 2018).

Strategic and operational issues cause the great damage to the event industry as these are
able to be the reason of failure of any event, as conference, banquetting. Therefore, as for the
event industry it is important to done all the work in a pattern so that it does not cause any
problem. For any event industry it is important to have good project management to ensure the
good success rate for the event.
Project management:
Effective project management will help to manage all the things in a possible order so that it
eliminate any redundancy and clears the path to successfully complete the task. As for the event
industry it is important to carry out all the work in a order so that it does not affect the event. It
enables the systematic approach to implement the plan, therefore event manager need to ensure
that all the modules of the work are arranged in a organized manner. As the big difference can be
seen in the event or other project is that the for the event the thing which is matter the most in
“On time” as event is organized in real time therefore the services should be on time (Saarto,
2021). As tickets for the event are organized in advance, all technicality can be arranged before
so it does not cause any problems.
Strategic approach:
Effective strategy can improve the task as it reduce the redundancy and make the task successful.
In event the process from organising to marketing all should be done in a order.
Marketing:
It is the most important aspect for the event as people always attracted towards the good
marketing, as for the event industry if the promotion can not be done in a effective manner than
it affect the productivity, also low budget for the marketing also big issue, heavy competition is
the another issue. They all need to cope up with the help of implementing good marketing
strategy.
Pricing and packaging issues:
As for the event it is important to set the affordable or economical pricing on the tickets so that
people can make them available for the event. Better pricing strategy always comes with good
planning and decision-making process, if the event team demands the high cost on the ticket then
people do not able to buy the services for event. For the event if the venue is not attractive or the
decoration are not it rights place then it restricts the event to be successful.
