The Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya is one of the most well known race track in the
world. The circuit was opened in the year of 1991, on 10th September. Situated in Montmelo
of Barcelona city, the circuit was established by the Town Council of Montmelo, the Royal
Automobile Club of Catalonia and the Catalan government. Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya
held the first race just after five days of its inauguration (Circuit de Catalunya 2018). The
event was a Spanish car championship. After few weeks of the event, the popular Formula
Grand Prix was held in the circuit on 29 September.
The circuit hosts some famous events including the prestigious Catalan MotoGP
Grand Prix, Spanish F1 Grand Prix and so on. International championships like FIIM CEV
