followed by many businesses to achieve their goals related to environment and social contexts.
The application of sustainable practices in the businesses categories, society, agriculture and
personal life by maintaining them in a most effective way that will provide advantages to current
generations and future generations. The present report will be based on topic Bath Spa
University organization has a range of issues with estate overcrowding with private transport
(cars). The study will Explain and reference strategic approaches how the estates team might
encourage behavioural change and greater use of sustainable transport options. This is the major
issue seen in the organization because students and people coming their were struggling as there
was overcrowding areas.
Bath spa university is a public university in bath, situated in England provides varieties of
opportunities to students so that they can study in some of the most inspiring and excellent
spaces in the UK. The major focus of the university is to employ outstanding creative
professionals so that they can support their objectives and who aim to be a leading educational
institution in the world. This university is established in such a manner where creative minds
meet to study varieties of courses such as social sciences, business and science.

As we all know that in today's business world, sustainability play an important role so,
the company needs to always focus on sustainable business operations. It can be social,
environmental and cultural. If the company focus on sustainable business operations then they
can easily achieve sustainable goals in order to have healthy communities and manage
surrounding areas. Many companies are focusing on CSR practices, redesigning of products
reducing waste, managing transport and supply chain management (Purvis, Mao and Robinson,
2019). Business operational sustainability is a systematic method used by the companies to in
order to evaluate whether a business can maintain existing activities and practices without
placing future business related resources at risk.
In today's ever evolving business world, it is essential to have effective approaches and
consider a value driven approaches when developing business strategies can be an important to
long term success. As the university is overcrowded with private transport cars it can increase the

chances of pollution and harm the natural air and resources. Hence, it is necessary for university
to focus on sustainable business operations by using effective approaches such as energy
efficient, providing affordable modes of transport to students and building infrastructure in a
most effective way that it cannot lead to overcrowded areas (Gerner, 2019).
With the help of traditional model, the company can maximize its profits, focus on
maximization and improve competitive advantages. So, to improve sustainability through
modern model the company needs to focus on CSR practices that is corporate social
responsibilities. It is essential to follow sustainability rules and regulations made by the
government to support public in the organizations and support them in every aspect. For this they
need to focus on risk management means to reduce potential stakeholders relations risks to firm
by strengthening those relations. They need to focus on value creative by offering new
opportunity to create and innovate different kinds o values with internal and external
stakeholders. By having this CSR practices the university is able to maximize environmental and
social benefits and also helps the economy for growth and development (Nilashi and et.al.,
2019).. For this they must have transformation business models in order to innovate change
towards sustainable business operations. Innovation is the only way to redesigning of transport
facilities and parking areas spaces/ as sustainability can be a game changer, it can drive
innovation just by introducing new designing constraints that share the resources such as
domestic fuels, carbon and waste. Hence, in this way sustainable business operations can make
the organization a leader which helps students to achieve future success.
It is essential for university management team to understand the idea of leadership in
sustainability so that they can manage the transport issues. With the help of leadership the
university can easily maintain sustainable business operations which helps them to build trust
with stakeholders such as students, parents and teachers (Nilashi and et.al., 2019). As we all
know that if there is no leader then there is no direction available for achieve sustainable goals.
The leaders must adopt a charismatic personality so that it can help them to practice of
collaborative creativity. By having sustainable practices such as low and zero emission the
business can maintain sustainability in transport. Their are many problems faced because of the
transportation, so a reduction of the environmental impacts of transport such as private cars is a
likely strategy for sustainability in the university. As transport contributes to harmful emissions,

issues which are arising due to the higher number of the students who bring the car that inclines
the parking related concern. The particular company has been criticized for the two major
problems which involves delays & driver shortages. In addition to this, the particular firm is
facing the issue that the students, visitors and staff parks in the residual area which has the
impact in negative manner to the reputation of organization (Punja, 2021). The overflowing
parking is hampering the overall practices of the organization. It is important to give focus on
having the issue regarding the prevailing parking challenges.
These all has the adverse level of the impact on the congestion and pollution which is
hampering the health, social and environmental aspects. There are larger number of the staff and
students who come by their personal car that is leading the overflow which is affecting the

In order to end this impact, the university is promoting travel to and from the university

campus nearby.
