DESCRIPTION / OBJECTIVE
The undertaken bathroom renovation project aims to remodel the old bathroom of the landlord to provide an
upgraded bathroom. The objective of the undertaken project is to complete the entire work within 1 month. The
project involves removal of all the old fixtures of the existing bathroom and replacing the same with the new
fixtures. Along with that the bathroom will be re painted to provide new look to the old bathroom.
Scope Statement: The in-scope need of the project is to deliver a new bathroom to the landlord by removing and
renovating all the old fixtures. The project should be completed within 1 month and no delays in the project can be
accepted.
PROJECT STAKEHOLDERS
The table below provides the details of the main stakeholders linked with the bathroom renovation project-

FUNDING
The sponsor of the project is the client and the funding for this bathroom renovation project will be sought from the
client only. The funding of the project will be dependent on the detailed estimation of the cost of renovating the
bathroom. Therefore, the estimation of the schedule and the resources are done at the start of the project to provide
with a detailed budget to the client.
PROJECT SUCCESS CRITERIA
The success criteria of any project refers to key measurable terms that are linked with the project outcome, which is
acceptable to the client and the other stakeholders (Kerzner, 2017). Therefore, successful closure of any undertaken
project is directly related to the fulfillment of these criteria. The success criteria of the bathroom renovation task are
indicated below-
1. The project is to be competed in a minimum time, preferably within a month
2. All the plumbing and facility equipment replacement is done within budget

3. The inspection should indicate no water leakage or damage of the existing facility

The execution of the project is subjected to certain key constrains which are indicated as follows-
1. The time is a constraint as the bathroom cannot be kept engaged for a longer time.
2. Cost is a constraint as the landlord can spend only a limited money on the renovation project
3. Resource is a constraint as the project is to be completed is a limited budget and hence a large number of resource
cannot be engaged in the project.
ASSUMPTIONS
The assumptions that are considered for designing and planning the bathroom renovation project are indicated as
follows-
1. The key assumption is that landlord will make alternate arrangements of the bathroom during the renovation of
the old bathroom
2. It is assumed that the resources of the project will be readily available during the execution phase
3. It is assumed that the payment for buying the needed bathroom equipment and fittings will be achieved at the start
of the project.
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
The acceptance criteria for the closure of the bathroom renovation project are indicated as follows-
1. No leakage issues are detected in the new bathroom
2. The Project takes no longer than 30 days for completion
