Objectives
Cost structure of content should go down as
it is prime reason that profitability of many
companies in mass media industry is going
negative. In order to find and present quality
contents companies do not give much
attention to other activities like marketing,
human resources, information technology
etc. But there is another perception that
content is core in mass media industry and
firmly believe that content is king. People
want to watch and listen quality content
which can only be developed by putting more
resources in content development.
Qualitative research is used because it focuses on
human behaviour instead of hard data. There are
two types of data, one is primary data other is
secondary data, this report both kind of data. In
primary data, information is collected for first time
and its biggest advantage is that it can be collected
according to exact need of research. It is expensive
but in terms of reliability it is trusted by most of
the users of that data, some examples of this type
of data is survey, observation and interviews.
Secondary data is basically primary data which is
collected by someone else and may be for any
other purpose but it may know provide exact
information that is needed. It is easy to obtain
because of which it is cheaper that primary data,
some examples of this kind data is books, internet,
government report etc.
Mass media industry is in UK market is
growing at a gradual rate and most of
the companies are exploring other
options expand their business and
earnings. It can be analysed that Asia is
one of the best option to invest and to
achieve social as well as business goal
sport will be good option.
It focusses on performance of BBC in UK
and what measures can be taken to their
performance in UK can be improved. It
included a cricket tournament between
India, Pakistan and Bangladesh which will
assist company in expansion and profits
