receivers purpose, receivers understanding, healthy relationship and reputation of company.
PART 1
Introduction
There are various business communication skills and communicate in effective manner and
individual need to develop and improve this skills. To communicate in an effective manner
groups need to collaborate with each other in order to work together to solve critical problems.
Collaboration is the important skill regarding the management of knowledge of workers in every
profession. It is not just only about teams girls but also about interpersonal communication skills
(Gilbert, 2016). Sustainability is a business approach in order to create long term value for the
company by considering the operations of organisation which include ecological economic and
social environment. Sustainability is developed on the assumption of developing various
strategies which can Foster company for longer period of time.
Explanation of sustainable approach to business strategy and management
Sustainable development is a concept which describe the growing recognition and the new
ideas for many business activities and this concept remains abstract and theoretical.Do
sustainable development is achieve with the full potential as it must integrate into the planning
and Measurement system of business Enterprises. This concept should be articulated in terms of
known business leaders. In case of business organisations sustainable development is a concept
which describe adopting business Strategies and activities which meets the requirements of
organisation and its stakeholders by protecting sustaining and improving the human and natural
resources that will be required in future as well (LópezPérez, Melero and Javier Sese, 2017). It
is also described that each and every sector organisation whether it is a small medium or large

depends on the human and natural resources in terms of expanding their business and also the
need financial resources. For this sustainable development put emphasis on economic activity
that should not be destroy these natural and human resources. For the sustainable development
communication plays an important role as it is the only medium which is useful in in spreading
awareness among people regarding the use of many resources. This concept recognises the
economic development that should meet the requirements of business enterprise and stakeholders
as latter it include shareholders lenders employees suppliers communities and so on which
influences the business activities (Baumgartner and Rauter, 2017). Sustainable development use
the systems approach but it also put emphasis on the system from the inside of business
perspective and focus on the interaction among business with the external environment. In
relation with this stakeholders approach to CSR is considered as the stakeholders group believe
that they can never fully understand the cooperation capabilities competitive positioning as the
loudness of stakeholders voice does not important for any kind of problem concerning to the
company. In in relation with this various sustainable approaches to business strategy and
Management are discussed as underneath:
Implications for business: It becomes a cliché that the environmental issues are substantial
and impact on the growth of economy. In relation with this a common responses is stricter
regarding the regulations of environmental policies which often inhibits the growth. As a result it
can be a trade off among the healthy and mental policies and on the other hand leads to develop
growth for the others. As a result the opportunities for the company’s make get constrained. For
instance if Tesco wants to expand it’s business in other areas then they need to develop some
forms and strategies and need to follow environmental regulations also that are socially
sustainable (Aras and Crowther, 2016). These policies and strategies are helpful for company in
their expansion and achieving more growth opportunities for itself. All these regulations and
strategies describe the Revolutionary change and sustainable development is about the proper
approaches as well. In order to set up business sustainable companies must maintain suitable
communication with their respective customers and societies as well as they are the major factor
which plays important role for the enhancement of sales and revenues of company.
Practical considerations: When organizations seek precision and practicality on the
grounds of there planning efforts then sustainable development is the prominent concept which is
used for the simple and universal expansion. It is considered as the change to enhance the

information and evolve the priorities of society. For instance here the role of Tesco is
contributing towards the sustainable development which remains indefinite as company make
suitable contribution towards its attainment and the capacity to make difference which varies
sector wise and Organisation size (Siva and et. al., 2016). For this some businesses consider the
principal objectives for them to make money as there is no consensus between the business
leader and narrow self interest in order to take action for the sake of society. Moreover
prominent areas of sustainable development always remain technically ambiguous which makes
it quite difficult to plan regarding the effective course of action. For instance the forest industry
also has Complex defining which constitutes the sustainable forest management and for this
some critics believe that replacing trees is not as enough as the harvesting more destroys the
biodiversity of the forest. In relation with this prominent research will be required to resolve
some technical problems.
Positive signs of change: In modern world environmental excellence become the major
part of strategic thinking it is considered as the best economic interest which company can do.
The prominent positive change in the attitude and practices by the company towards the
economic cooperation and development which describe that most of the industries take positive
actions for saving the natural resources. Cancellation with this there is no prominent prospect
which hormone is the environmental consideration and leech to incorporate their objectives
towards the policies (Sullivan, Thomas and Rosano, 2018). In relation with this many companies
develop prominent sustainable development industries which makes excellent sense for the
business full stop for example the manufacturing plant of Tesco scale down the wastewater
treatment operation approximately 50% by simply running cooling water and its factories
continuously rather than discharging at after the single use. In addition to this McDonald’s also
develop its publicized move towards the plastics paper for the cornerstone of much broader and
less visible which describes the waste reduction strategy.
Enhancing management systems: The term sustainable development required in
Corporation towards policies and process of business as it follows the sustainable development
principles which does not only means that new management methods should be invented.
Despite of this it also required fresh cultural orientation and refinements of system and
procedure. By considering these two prominent areas of the management system which required
change that are great responsibility to the non-traditional stakeholders and continuous

improvement of reporting practices. Moreover developing prominent management Framework
for the sustainable development need addressing both decision making and governance. This
concept integrates both the business planning and management information system (Lueg and
Radlach, 2016). For instance the senior management of Tesco offer prominent reports that
measure the performance against the strategies which is useful in in determining the management
and enhancing overall system for the betterment of company.
Analyse the various approaches to CSR of Micro, SME and corporate business
CSR approaches of Micro:
Accommodative Approach: This approach defines that the company believe on the
serving towards society and social responsibility is there important factor and perhaps also
consider the earning profit. The motive of these companies is to satisfy and follow all the legal
requirements and consider ethical standards as well. An accommodating company does not try to
hide their extension activities and also make them open in front of everyone (Kopnina, 2016).
For instance these companies can decrease their development of waste as the source of products
would not test on the animals and also offer fair remunerations and wages to their employees.
Along with this these organisations also keep their records open in front of public. Although
these companies are socially responsible in order to change their policies and response of
Criticism. For instance Ella’s kitchen is the best example for this asset offer prominent benefits
to its employees. In relation with this company leads to eliminate its development of waste as its
developed products and food material does not tested on animals and also Organic products by
considering the health of their customers. Along with this company also provide equal pay to
their employees and does not discriminate among them. Therefore company is quite responsible
towards society and can change their policies by considering the requirements of their respective
customers.
CSR approaches of SME:
Proactive Approach: Like the accommodating approach proactive is also same as in this
companies also so take responsibilities for the society and consider them as a Priority even they
need to cut down their profits. Rather than reacting on the criticism these companies put
emphasis on remaining ahead towards the curb when it comes on the social responsibilities
(Lawal, Worlu and Ayoade, 2016). They also consider ethical standards as a part of their mission
and vision statement and considered to avoid any harm towards the environment and their

employees as well. These companies also go out of its way to modify and recycle their programs
in order to enhance the skills of their employees and offer living wage and prominent benefits
which leads to improve motivation and moral of their subordinates. They also donate some
portion of their profit towards the charity. A good example of it is little Soho which is a
restaurant as they have their own Medical Centre and also provide medical benefits to their
employees and their concerning families at minimal cost and also receive medical treatment for
them. The managers of the restaurant adopt this approach more willingly in order to go out of
their way to prominently promote and advertise the interest of both stockholders and
stakeholders with the help of organizational resources. In addition to this companies also meet
the criteria of social responsibility is considering the discretionary performance and rather than
being reactive proactive companies are more capable enough to solve critical problems.
CSR approaches of corporate business:
Obstructionist Approach: It is considered as the most deceitful approach of the Social
Responsibility as it means to block or get in the way. This approach blocks its social
responsibilities and more concerned about the profit. These companies are are known for there
pollute this is our customers and also explain their own employees in order to gain more
profitability and revenues. It is considered as an approach in which companies does not do Little
to solve any social or environmental problem. In addition to this these companies also can go
against the laws and legislations and can do everything in their powers to avoid being penalized
for their mistakes. In simplest form these organisations avoid corporate social responsibilities as
their managers involve in the unethical and illegal behaviour in order to try to hide from the
organisational stakeholders and society as well (Doppelt, 2017). They also reflect the economic
priorities in order to stop whatever carries. For instance Hertz was the first rental car organisation
to have reached the agreement with safety group towards its customers for auto reliability and
grant the NHTSA authority to prohibit rental car companies from leasing those vehicles who are
deemed safe. Another example of it is the United States was handling the homestead strike in
1982. As here 3000 words from the Andrew Carnegie’s homestead steel mill went on strike for
the better wages and healthy working conditions. Despite from this they trying to come to the
mutual benefit agreement which management choose to hire a private Army to handle the strike.
Therefore these types of incidents are not uncommon and result as the obstructionist view which
commonly considered by the management at the time of late 1800s.

Defensive Approach: Most of the companies considered this approach towards the social
responsibilities as termed as the not specific responsible. These companies do not consider
themselves as the neutral as their motive is to earn more profit instead of performing their actions
towards the social responsible way (Criado-Gomis, Cervera-Taulet and Iniesta-Bonillo, 2017).
These companies develop their own points and laws to ensure that others would not take legal
actions against them full stop for example any company can create more waste that is necessary
but it leads to remove the waste in legal method instead of dumping it legally. In addition to this
organisation does not considered what is required for them in the legal manner but nothing more
than that. Like many companies offer their employees with the prominent number of annual
leave days that are mentioned in the employment act and considered as these leaves are enough
for them (Bendell, 2017). Managers and leaders of these companies depend only on the legally
developed norms in order to take the most minimal position towards the corporate social
responsibility. Meanwhile they also seek protection by doing minimum things that is required in
the Legal procedure. For this managers are responsible for each and every query and make sure
that nothing has been done as the wrong despite of the possible negative outcomes. For example
Tesco create more waste at the time of production and manufacturing process but also remove all
the wastage by following the legal rules and regulations instead of dumping it illegally which
leads to over exploiting resources that is unethical to cover up the legal disposable methods.
PART 2

Self analysis and Reflection is an approach which is useful in analysing only skills and
describe those key areas in which an individual need improvement. It is useful and describing the
prominent actions which a person can take in order to enhance there skills by taking continuous
learning approach. According to this it describe the painting full attention towards the prominent

my roles and responsibilities is to analyse and co-ordinate with my subordinates and for this I
have gone through from several shoes by which I gain a good learning experience which is
useful for me to enhance my knowledge and skills as well. In order to carry forward the
reflection Gibbs reflective model is used which is developed by Graham Gibbs in 1988 to
describe its full experience regarding the prominent issues. Few of its steps are discussed as
underneath:
Description: When me and my subordinates are working on a project that is concerned
with the sustainable development of company in prominent areas. In relation with this I need to
go through at many steps and perform various tasks on the basis of my abilities and
competencies. In relation with this while performing the project I also done self analysis in order
to describe my own skills which leads to show me that I need to enhance my numeracy and ICT
skills as I cannot collect and use the prominent states and chart which is useful in doing planning
and predicting any risk in future. In addition to this to determine and examine my skills I perform
VARK questionnaire that is useful in describing me that what prominent actions I can opt to
enhance this skills like I need to take guidance from my supervisors and also take participate in
the technical programs training to develop my ICT skills for the betterment of future
performance (Fathelrahman, 2019). In relation with this after the self analysis I came to know
that I am good in developing communication problem solving and working with others which
becomes my strength to work in a team and run it in and smooth manner without any conflicts
and confusion.
Feelings: When I start working on the project bi coordinating and collaborating with my
Associates in the organisation then it becomes my duty is to determine that what they need to
perform like they need proper guidance instructions and direction regarding performing their job
in the stipulated time period and in an effective way (Markkanen and et. al., 2020). As it is pretty
much required by me to ask my Associates that what they are actually doing or not in the proper
manner in order to motivate them. Besides from this I also feel descriptive when many of my
team Associates but not representing their efforts within the performance of team towards the
attainment of objectives and deliver the information to other Associates as it leads to break down
the team and communication within the group.
Evaluation: It described that which particular thing went right for me was the floor and
quality of information that I offered to my Associates and considered as the pretty much

effective in nature and working for them regarding their performance. In addition to this because
of my numeracy and ICT skills I face lot of problems in predicting things regarding the project
that leads to lose interest of my subordinates in their performance. For this it is determined that
the whole project went well because of my subordinates and their positive behavior that help me
e in accomplishing prominent goal and project on time. For this it describe that I am pretty much
good in communication it is useful for me to clarify targets and objectives to my Associates that
makes things clear in the mind that what is expected from them and what are the measures they
should consider while performing their task.
Analysis: By considering the whole situation it is analysed that my communication skills
problem solving skills and working with others is effective in nature which is helpful for me e in
completing the project on time and also developing healthy relations with my Associates for the
future project or task. With the help of my communication skills I can easily gain trust and Faith
of my Associates which is helpful for the company as well to retain them for longer period of
time (Pinder and et. al., 2016). In addition to this I can also say that my team working skills is
also help me in providing prominent information to other team Associates by developing
trustworthy chain.

which is helpful for me in offering right information and message to my subordinates who were
actively listen to me as it is easy for them to make things clear in their mind regarding the
attainment of targets. It is also analyze to that their active listening is useful as bi this they can
get prominent methods effectively work. Including this it is also determined that there are some
skills of my own like numeracy and ICT in which I am less efficient and also need improvement
so that I can become more efficient why performing future task and project as these skills are
useful in predicting upcoming risk and also helps in Planning as well.
Action plan:
Objective: To improve my both numeracy and ICT skills with the help of my supervisors within
2 months.
To improve this skills and need to take prominent feedbacks from the top level
