SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
Introduction
The report deals with the case study of the Sunshine Motors and the current predicament
for the company is that they are making use of some old procedures that is hindering the growth
of the company. In addition to this, the company makes use of the manual systems that is
resisting the company from any type of growth. Hence, there is a need of reformation of the
systems and the process that are being followed by the company.
The report provides the analysis of the systems that are currently present in the company
and provides further information about the proposal for the design of the system for the Car
Dealership Service Department.
The reports provides the System acquisition technique, the architectural design, Interface
Design, Structure Chart, Hardware and Software design, Program Design and Program
Specification.
Recommended System Acquisition Strategy
The system acquisition techniques are very important for any type of organization for the
implementation of a new system. A successful acquisition strategy development depends on the
understanding of the external and the internal factors of the organization that drives the
organization for the acquisition of the system. For the system development there can be two
methods. Firstly, the company can opt for the custom development or secondly, they can opt for
package software to be installed in the system of the company. The custom development of the
software has been identified as the suitable technique in this situation.
