and caution to avoid acts or omissions that could expose people, for whom there is responsibility, to a
reasonably foreseeable risk of injury or harm.
Financial Probity and Accountability
Staff and contractors must ensure that in financial matters, including the handling of monies, they are

BC Software Pvt LTD. is the organization which provides I.T services to the schools. The
compliance manager is responsible for the internal reviews which ensures the clarity in the
workings of the organization. Apart from that the review includes the analysis of the
legislation and the standards related to the copy right and the code of ethics regarding the
professional conducts. The main purpose of the report is to develop the idea regarding
ethics, privacy policies and the copyright policies and their relevance with respect to the
issues in the organization mentioned in the internal audit. In order to do this the copy right
policies and the ethical conducts regarding the professional practices have been discussed in
this study The discussion addresses the issues in the organization regarding the privacy and
the copyright policies. In case, if the employees of the BC Soft fails to maintain any ethical
conduct in the organization he or she will be penalized or can be terminated from the service.
The action taken will be dependent in the intensity of the violation of the action. In case, if the
organization fails to maintain any ethical conduct , the company will give the penalty for the
doing.
According the given case situation, the employees of the BC Soft uses the code of the other
person without the permission while developing the database. The main issue in this case is
that that employee did not acknowledge the writer of the code before the using of the code.
This is surely an unethical practice and the organization should take the necessary steps for
the doings of this unethical practice.

Conclusion [3 marks]
It can be concluded from the above discussion that the BC Soft maintains the
ethical practice in the organization. However, there is a need for the
improvement o the ethical and the security maintaining process un the
organization. The action done by the employees in the BC Soft regarding the
coding of the database is not an ethical practice. On the other hand the
organization is also facing some security issues like the breaching of the data and
the leak of the password which includes the unauthorized access of the database
and the system. These issues can be prevented by application of the privacy and
the ethical code in the working of the organization. In order to review the
internal audit, the checklist for both the ethical and the privacy related fact are
evaluated. The overall discussion will ensure the current internal view of the
organization which eventually opens up the opportunity for the organization for
the further improvement.
