BDM Research Project: Data Analysis and Conclusion

This report presents the findings of a BDM research project analyzing student perspectives on various aspects of their college experience. The research assessed student satisfaction with teaching methods, revealing that while generally satisfied, students desire innovative teaching approaches. The study also evaluated the availability of college amenities, indicating a need for improvements, particularly in the IT department. Furthermore, the research examined student opinions on curriculum relevance, highlighting a perceived disconnect between the current syllabus and industry requirements. The report concludes with recommendations for teachers to adopt more engaging teaching styles, for the college to enhance its IT infrastructure, and for curriculum revision to align with industry demands. The analysis includes data interpretation from survey responses, providing a comprehensive overview of the students' viewpoints and suggestions for improvement.

Interpretation
Facts are revealing that there are 13 respondents that are strongly agree and 10 are agree
on same statement. 2 respondents are neutral followed by 3 respondents are disgaree and 2 are
strongly disagree on same statement. It can be said that most of respondents are satisfied with the
way in which they are teach by teachers.
Teachers need to change the way in which they teach you complicated topics.

Interpretation
On the basis of above table it can be observed that there are 10 respondents that are
strongly agree on the fact that teachers need to change their teaching style. 6 are agree and 4 are
somewhat agree with same statement. 5 students are disagree and same number of respondents
are strongly disagree on same statement. Thus, students think that teachers need to modify their
learning style.

There are further need to improve amenities in college in terms of availability of computers in IT
room and other facilities.

From above fact it can be seen that 7 respondents are strongly agree, 8 respondents are

Facts are revealing that there are five respondents that are strongly agree on the fact
followed by 8 respondents are agree on same statement. There are 4 respondents that are

respondents teachers teach topic through practical demonstration or vice versa.

Interpretation
As per facts it is clear that 5 respondents are strogly agree and 7 are agree followed by 3
respondents that are somewhat agree. There are 6 respondents that disagree and 9 are strongly
disagree. Mixed response is given by respondents and it can be said that moderate number of
students think that syllabus of their subjects are outdated.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of analysis of results it is concluded that students are satisfied from the
college and way in which teachers are teaching them but they want that tutors must follow
different and innovative approach to teach them. There are suficient amenities in the college but
much more need to be improved in college IT department. Apart from this, it is also concluded
that current curiculum need to be change as per industry requirements so that more and more
individuals get relevant job in industry.
Recommendation
It is recommended that teachers must modify their learning style. However, with current
learning style students are satisfied but they want some thing new and different. In this regard it
is recommended that by using real life practical example and simulation software topics must be
teach to students. It is also recmoneded that more systems must be installed in college IT room
so that more students can do study and net surfing. Curriculum must be changed and in this
regard colleeg can enter in to tie up with industry players who provide education to experienced

in fields like analytics and finance etc. By doing so curriculum can be made accoridng to
industry requirements.
