Week 1.

Selection of topic
In fist week, I searched for different topic which should be based on
business and management topics and by which I could improve my
knowledge of business and management. There were many topics which
could have been selected to increase my business knowledge and it was
really difficult for me to select a particular topic. I listed many topics which
were trending and will increase my business knowledge. After, a deep
research I came up with a topic “Brexit” and its imapct on SME's which is a
very trending and hot topic to make research on. I selected this top
because it has been trending from 2016 and I got interested to know what
were the views of different personalities regarding Brexit.
Week 2.

Literature Review In second week I started to write literature review about the topic. In order
to write a literature review I gathered information from different sources. I
had to selected an appropriate source of information like searching for
relevant articles, books and journals, gathering information from the
internet, browsing many relevant websites in order to gather information. I
listed the views of many authors and personalities and presented their
views on Brexit and how it would impact on small and medium scale
enterprises. So, summarised both pros and cons of Brexit on SME's how it
would affect small and medium scale businesses. I also presented my
personal views after deep research on a topic which was in favour and
against Brexit both.

Framing aims and objectives In order to frame aims and objectives I have to analyse the topic properly, I
properly analysed the topic and developed aim which is to be achieved and
developed a strategy how to achieve my aim of completing research on the topic
selected. In order to fulfil my aim I developed objectives which could help me in
achieving my aim. My objectives were to select authentic source of information
which could enhance my knowledge. Gathering a proper information, summarising
the entire information and developing a report on it. So this is how I achieved my
aim.

Reflection For writing a reflection on the activities and experiences during from the
beginning to end I used two different models of reflection such Honey and
Mumford's model of reflection and VARK model of reflection. With the help of
these model I could reflect on the experiences and helped what kind of learning
style should I prefer to frame a reflection. With the help of these model, I
developed my skills of learning. Honey and Mumford has 4 styles of learning
and I used Theorist learning style because I had make research through books,
journals, reading through internet, blogs so this style was best for me to adopt.
Also, from VARK model I chose Reader and Writer learning because my
research based on gathering of information through reading and summarising
the report through writing which developed my skill and knowledge.

In week five developed a summary of entire actions from starting to end,
form selecting of a topic to reflecting on my experience. I started up with
selecting a topic which should be based on business and management in
first week. In second week developed a literature review based on different
views from different personalities and authors. In third week I developed
aim and objectives which has to be achieved and my aims and objects
were related to research how to gather an information about the topic. At
the end I reflected on my activities performed and on experiences during
the entire task.
