INTRODUCTION
The case study is about the company Becton Dickinson, the world largest manufacturer
of medical supplies and equipments. It is small innovative company manufacturing safety
syringes. The issue of these company is niddlestick injuries which are causing serious hazard to
people and the study is to managing the alternatives ways to solve the problems of the company.

Propose alternative ways of managing the conflicts and issues from a socially responsible
perspective.
The issue of company Becton Dickinson is from niddlestick syringes which are causing
serious hazard to the health to the people of suppliers of hospitals and clinics (Spence and et.al.,
2018). The organisations operating with Becton Dickinson is facing highly damages which are
undisclosed sum of money. The uncompensated issue of Companies that the countless workers
are infected with AIDS and other blood borne diseases. Needlesticks injuries every year not only
AIDS but also Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and other lethal disease.
There are ways by which company can manage the issues and conflicts:
Listen, Don't Speak:
One of the common problem with stakeholders and employees is that no body is
listening. Sometimes it is better to keep calm. When stakeholders speaks, they thinks that they
are right, let them speak. Let them know they understand what they say. Stakeholders should feel
positive with the company's behaviour.
Provide a forum for resolution of the issue:
Company can play a role of facilitators to stakeholders and employees for managing the
conflicts with company's products and services. Conduct a meeting for stakeholders and
employees so that they make complains and issues. Make sure the meeting conducted should be
productive.
Determine the attitude:
Company should determine the attitude of stakeholders and employees whether it is
positive or negative. Company should know the importance of both for solving the issues
because they are the key's to get success. Both are supportive and also can be opponent to the
company, without stakeholders company cannot sustain in the market and without employees
company cannot work in the organisation (Wu and Chiu, 2018).

Develop a communication plans:
Company can able to know the issues of stakeholders and employees by interacting with
them. Company has to develop a communication strategies in the organisation that how to
connect with them directly or indirectly. Communication should be regarding the main object, it
should not loss while communicating. Determine the best time and best way to communicate
with them.
Bend the laws of reality:
In everyone's life, changes needed. Law of reality is needed to change. Each and every
company having some laws in the organisation which govern the how the business will move
ahead. It is mainly schedules relating time, money, relating to staff in the company and rules and
policies of company. If there is any issue regarding the laws and rules of the company, firstly it
should be listen and then taking decision or step what to do either to change or evaluating other
alternatives for the problems. If needed it is better for company to bend the laws for solving the
conflicts and issues.
Solve it in reasonable time:
The problems, issues, conflicts and complains are never ended, if any company works
there are complains and issue, which cannot be avoided and even it cannot be remove. Better
option is that to find the solutions of the complains of stakeholders and employees. Company can
set a time for solving the conflicts, but it should be in reasonable time. Too late shows ignoring
the issues which will not be good for company (Hofman and et.al., 2018). It should be quick and
painless.
Develop the approaches and Principals for solving the Conflicts:
For Controlling, scheduling, planning, a systematic approaches can be build by the
company to solve the problem and conflicts of stakeholder and employees. Approaches like Give
and Take, Maintaining the relationship among both, and win win styles etc. by using these
approaches or principals company can solve the problems in proper time.
CONCLUSION
The case study is all about the ways of managing the conflicts and issues from a socially
responsible perspective. In this study we concluded the introductory part of Becton Dickinson
Company, after that we concluded the ways how we can find the alternatives ways to solve the
