Shortage in the
number of assistant
teachers
The special assistant teacher is more important
than the normal teacher in assisting the SN
student. This dominance can lead to both
dependence and independence of SN student

Shortage in the number of assistant teachers
It is evident from the article that teachers need special and
more advanced training facilities to cater to the needs of
children with special needs (Rasmitadila & Goldstein, 2017).
. I have learn this from the answers given my majority of the
teachers to one of my research question which was “How
prepared to you feel to teach a student with special needs
with or without the help of an assistant teacher?” Most
teachers answered they are comfotable with the help of an
assistant teacher. In addition to this another teacher also
reported that there is a lack of skilled assistant teachers. This
is a big difficulty for them.
I found that there is a great demand for the specailly trained
assistant techaer than the normal teachers in terms of teaching
children with special needs. Thus there is a chance that this
will either make those chuoldren highly dpendent on the help
of the special assisstantn tecahers or they will learn how to
become independent in their lives. (Rasmitadila & Goldstein,
2017).
The article fits with the result because it conform of the
importance of the assistant teacher.

-The result signifies that teachers face huge problems when
they are teaching in a classroom of children with special
needs. They often come across many issues like knowing the
right activities for conducting these classes. They often have
to take initiatives like talking to the parents, catering more
time in communication with those students and
understanding their actual needs.
- The article that has been dealt with here is carried on
across a school in Emirates regarding the issues faced
by teachers while they try to interact with students

having special needs.
A Commonly observed thing is that teachers suffer from lack
of time. They often cannot manage the time in looking after
the normal children and the children with special needs at
the same time. There are many issues related to the class
size, the number of students, lack of training and awareness,
lack of proper materials needed.
However I have found some relations with my findings in this
part of the article. Some of the common aspects are lack of
time management, resources needed for the training and
other such factors.
For Result 3
- What do the results mean?
- How do they relate to the literature?
Refer to the literature you reviewed in
task 2 plus additional relevant literature if
desired.
The results obtained from the article mainly talks about the
issues faced by teachers while teaching a classroom of 25
normal students with 2 students having special needs. The
major issues that are faced by teachers are the lack of
training. As they suffer from then lack of proper training
faculties they often do not know how to interact with
students having special needs and how to arrange for some
engaging activities for them.
However some teachers are of the opinion that they do not
need training as they want to learn from experience.
Norwich, E. A, (2010) has stated that the key to success in this
field is giving a thorough training to the teachers so that they
can work for inclusion of the students with special needs in
their classroom activities. A thorough developemnt of the
beliefs and educational enviornment have to be done in order
to trainj the teachers proeprly.
However there are some differences in this artcile and my
findings in realtion to the factprs affecting then teaching of the
students with special needs.
