component that has a direct impact on the performance of an individual. An unhealthy person
cannot perform the assigned work appropriately which is crucial to attain success (Olivera,
Beaven and Metcalfe, 2018). According to the WHO, a healthy lifestyle provides means to lead
the life towards attainment of purpose and goals. In society, stay healthy is important in order to
ensure contribution of the person towards the societal well-being. A healthy person can
contribute in societal development and growth.
Importance of health in society is explained below:
Good health allows a person to stay fir physically and mentally that is important in order
to accept the changes which are coming within the society profoundly. A healthy person
can easily adapt the changes which are coming in their surroundings.
Health is a symbol of social and physical well-being. It protects a person from mental and
physical disorder and further improves their capability to contribute in societal growth

good health, clean and hygienic environment is really important. Lack of cleanliness might affect
the health condition of individuals severely. Here, it is vital to ensure safe and clean atmosphere
in order to stay healthy.
Social environment: It reflects the social factors in which one is born and grown up. It is
