INTRODUCTION
Academic skills are the skills which are applied to learning which helps in
knowing and identifying the capabilities of students (Balula and et.al., 2019).
Thus, it is denoted from the presentation that there are various benefits
and challenges of being a university student which will be described. Along with
this, there were various support services which will be made available to students at
WIC campus helping them in coping with their studies and induction which are
being performed for them. This also will help in engaging panel in ensuring that
there are some very important support activities which are made available to the
students’.

Benefits and challenges of being a university student
Being a university student there are various challenges which a student
faces and this helps in knowing the major aspects while studying in a university.
Students at WIC campus have been provided with various benefits and challenges
which help in letting know the aspects through which the students face challenges
along with benefits provided at large scale.
There are different types of students which face difficulties while
performing effectively in their academics and other recreational activities which are
being made available to them for improvement in their learning and development
overall (Maher, 2021).

The benefits of being a university student are described as below -
 Students at WIC campus will be able to get the networking opportunities.
 Students have the opportunity of collaborating through the clubs and activities
effectively and in appropriate manner.
 Students are able to gain good education which helps them in knowing the basis
through which all perspectives of initiating the grounds of education are known at
large scale.
 Students are able to learn digital fluency which helps them in being active towards
how effectively they are creating new ways of being active in the other skills within
their education system (Mitchell and et.al., 2017).

 Students are also recognized with various rewards and recognition and this helps
them to unveil their basic forms of how effective their communication is towards
beginning with new life and career which they are leading in WIC campus.
 Students are also provided with the opportunity to select and ace their majors which
helps them in knowing what are their interest areas of working and what are their
major strengths in the career which is been formed by them.
 Students within WIC campus are also provided with scholarships which provide
them opportunities at large scale and help them in knowing how effectively they are
working towards their career.

Apart from this, there are various challenges which are being faced by university
students. These challenges are described as follows –
 Students often suffer from being homesick which makes them getting out of the home
difficult. This brings major challenge which creates problems for the students.
 Adjusting to new life becomes difficult for students as they find it difficult in attaining
new ways of life in their academic career (Aruguete, 2017).
 This becomes very challenging when pressure arises from the students as most of the
students are not able to handle their academic career. This makes them nervous and less
confident.

 Students at the university may also find difficulty in maintaining their relationships
which can take time in making new friends and adjusting with them.
 Students may find it difficult in framing their own schedules at the university for
how the academic work is to be performed at large scale and in significant manner
(Niwaz and et.al., 2019).

Apart from the challenges being faced by the students, there is support
which is made available to students at WIC campus which helps them giving
opportunities as to how effectively and in significant manner they can pursue their
career at large scale. There are plenty of facilities and support systems which are
made available to the students at WIC campus which also helps in enabling the
students to achieve goals and attain future accomplishments.

The WIC campus has been providing the students by supporting them
with the student – centered higher education for more than 50 years (Galante and
et.al., 2018). The teaching staff at WIC campus have been providing through their
teaching skills and capabilities that they are taking concern of the students career
and are providing the best of their professional experiences in their respective fields.

The panel is also providing the various types of support activities which
are in reference to how the things have been managed and are made effective for the
perspective of knowing the basis through which education and other recreational
activities are being provided to the students. The facilities which are being provided
to the students are made available such as group study areas to television and radio
studios, academic support to entrepreneurial opportunities which are made available
through which all perspectives of creating new ways are known (Foley and et.al.,
2019).

CONCLUSION
Thus, it is concluded from above presentation that there are various
benefits and challenges of being a university student which were being described.
Along with this, there were various support services which were made available to
students at WIC campus which helped them in coping with their studies and
induction which was being performed for them. This helped in evaluating major
modifications along with growth and development which helped students in
knowing their perspectives at large scale. This also helped in engaging panel in
ensuring that there were some very important support activities which were made
available to the students’.
