TASK
Bruce Tuckman is the psychological researcher who has developed group dynamic
theory. This team development theory mostly used by companies in their workplace to
improve team work among employees (Hoogeboom and Wilderom, 2020). This Tuckman
theory has four main phases forming, storming, norming, performing. Norming is the stage
where leaders have to make each person understand about their task because team members
are not familiar with others. They ask many questions and leaders resolve their issues. In
storming phase relationship among team gets developed. They have purpose clarity and they
work together. Norming stage is that where all team members give quick response on the
instruction of leaders and their working style help business in gaining success (Hart and et.al.,
2020). Performing phase is the last phase where team has clarity about task and have strong
bonding. They work together; make their own decision to finish the task successfully.
Team working is very important for the growth of company. It enhances productivity
of company, when all team members work together then it aids in minimising workload
(Girod, 2020). By this way each members gets support from other that raises productivity of
firm to great extent. Each member utilise their skills well and high level of involvement is
there that aids in finishing work soon with great efficiency. On other hand team working
some time creates confusion among rest members. This sometimes affects completion time of
any task (McComb and Kennedy, 2020).
Team working is very important to develop support network. If all team members
have good relations then they will share their ideas and will support each other. By this way
focus gets raised and in heavy workload as well people support leaders. If employees work
individual then it becomes very difficult to find out proper solution of any issue, in such
condition confusion gets raised. Hence team working develops support network that reduces
risks of individual person in business unit.
Team working is helpful in fining new ideas, as all members share their innovative
ideas that help in creating good atmosphere where work can be managed effectively. This
kind of approach is beneficial in developing confidence of person (Yin And et.al., 2020).
Whereas if person is working alone then in hard or critical situation individual may get failed
to find new ideas to overcome this trouble.

Team working enhances moral of employees in workplace because it has great
collaboration among all team members (Widmann and Mulder, 2020). When individual
works in team then task can get accomplished soon. People feel happy because they get
friendly atmosphere and satisfactory work environment. But when person has to work alone
then each task needs to get completed individually that decreases moral of person to great
extent. Much time individual working enhances stress level of person and that is the reason
that person leave their job (Tuckman: Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing model Bruce
Tuckman's 1965 Team-Development Model, 2020). On other hand team working helps in
enhancing job satisfaction of worker. Hence team, working is beneficial in gaining more
positive results as compare to individual working (Terfa, 2020).
