Operation is the activity which is required in organization to perform all functions and
maintain the productivity. This is related to day to day activities which can help to know what is
running and how it can increase business profitability. The number of people are working in
organisation who are focusing in operation and service that can attracts customers and deliver
them best quality of services (Kim and et. al., 2019). Operation management for services is
consider as responsibility which is producing the services for satisfying customers. To
understand about this, Bentley Motors has been taken that is automobile company manufacturing
cars of different designs and attracting customers. This is operating business by focusing on daily
activities. This report covers different topics such as theories, concepts and principles of
practices from the area of operations and management, applications of alternative management
techniques, application of alternative operation management techniques, potential use of
technology for supply chain management, application of range of operations techniques to the
management of business. Apart from this, how supporting functions interact with operations.

Operation management is the administration of business practices that is uses to create
the high level of efficiency possible in business organisation to complete the goals and
objectives. This is important for company to manage activities and functions appropriately and
so it can be manage all actions effectively. In other words, operation management is related to
converting raw material and labour in to finished goods so profits can be maximize effectively. If
there is all activities and managed properly then it become easier for Bentley Motors to
manufacture cars properly and attracts the customers in wider range. Practices means
implementation of plans and resources in organisation so productivity can be managed and
increase profitability. There are a different practice in relation to operation and management such
as converting raw material, communication and coordination, training and development,
revenues collection etc. which are important for business and helps to increase the organisational
productivity (Hwang, Song, Jang and Yoon, 2019). The manager of such organisation are
playing important role who understand needs and wants of people and manufacture cars

management practices which should be used by managers and employees in order to convert the
