Mission and Vision (Value proposition)
Bento Box Delivery services provide their customers a wide range of healthy
personalised food. Our mission is to reach a large number of one-person households such as
university students and full time employers, who are unable to prepare good and healthy food
for themselves. We believe in serving the society with good and healthier meals of their
choices. Our team would ensure that the working society of our country is not concerned
about unhealthy or improper food habits and do not have to compromise with their favourite
meals. We are available online and orders can be placed through our websites or by installing
our application software which does not require any extra charges. “So here we are at your
service, pick your phone and order now”.
Management of the company
Bento Box delivery services is a company started by two friends, Pat Estelle and
Terry Simpson that believed in helping full time employed individuals. To start with we have
established the effective management standards that would help us to maximise the
productivity of our business. We focus on understanding the customer’s expectations and
provide them with a satisfactory meal. It is a 5 employee team with two managers who would
be supervising the entire process. Where two of them are responsible for delivering the boxes
and taking customers feedbacks, the other two would take care of cooking delicious and
healthy food and the role of the last employee is to take orders from the targeted customers.
The management will be hand on by both the friends as 50-50 partnership in the profit.
Services provided
Our clients are full time employers or university students who are unable to take care
of their food habits and meals due to their busy schedules. We provide them the chance to

personalise their meal box according to their food preferences and make sure that the food
produced is healthier besides being delicious. We have more than 200 items in our menu list
and we are open from 8 in the morning to 10 pm. We have our own website through which
our clients can place their order and we ensure to deliver their meal fresh within 45 minutes
irrespective of their location. We encourage our clients to share feedback on our software
application to ensure better services in future. Ordering meals with us is a two-step easy
process, which can be learned by anyone with the help of three minute guide video available
on the same software. Our services will be provided extensively in schools, offices and
homes.
The Market
62% of the total population in Australia consists of full time employers, out of which
50% are unable to cook for themselves due to lack of time. Around 35% are engaged in full
time university programs of which 8 out of 10 students face the same issue. Hence, the
demand for meal delivery services is increasing year by year in the country.
Competitive Advantage
Although there are various organisation providing similar services Bento Box
Services focuses on promoting demand for healthy meals as healthy lifestyle is the major
concern of people now a days. We are opened for more than 13 hours a day and ensure
minimising the delivery time of each meal ordered. We have managers with extensive
experience that hire skilled and knowledgeable employees. Hence, our clients can trust us
with premium quality meals and services.
Financial Projections- Funds sought
On the basis of our market size, we project our sales to be $340,000 for the first year
and the growth rate each year is project at 20% for the first five years. We will have five well

trained and skilled staffs in the initial stage of our business, of which three would be
responsible for producing quality meals and other two would be responsible for delivering
and customer satisfaction. We expect to hire more staffs once the financing is secured and we
reach a level of stability. The salary for the managers in the initial stage is $30,000 each.
We have already built our client base and have commitment from 20 clients and we
are planning to aggressively increase our customer base through newspaper advertisements,
social media pages and interactions and directly mailing the targeted or referred customers.
We provide an appealing advertisements in our websites to attract more and more customers.
The selling price of our meal will be dependent on the volume of the order which would be
highly subjective. However, per dish price is kept at an average affordable amount.
The co-owners have together made an investment of $60,000 and we are further
looking for expanding our business by seeking finance from banks and other financial
institutions.
