INTRODUCTION
Marketing is defines as all those activities which are connected with advertising products
and services of business (Chaffey and Ellis-Chadwick 2019). There are certain ways to
advertising products and service of company among customers are- sales promotion, personal
selling and many more. It is defined as a most important function of business because if business
will not do the marketing or advertising of its business then customers will not get know about its
business and it will not generate sales (Hanlon, 2019). Therefore marketing essentials means all
those things which are necessary for marketing of business and its product among customers in
market. In this report, Berners hotel is taking into consideration which was built on 1908-10 by
John Slater. The respective hotel is situated Berners street in the city of Westminster, London. The
new name of respective hotel is The London edition. This report will done on what marketing
techniques use by respective hotel to promote its service among customers (Park, and Jung 2021).

functions of marketing department are:
ï‚· Maximize customer awareness- Customer must be aware about existence of
business in case if business wants to survive in long run. The marketing
department of respective business must do time to time advertisement about
business on different platform so that customers must become aware about
business and its functionality(Fill, and Turnbull 2019).
ï‚· Promoting business facilities- Customers must know that what kind of facilities
does business provide in order to rise in sales. The marketing department of
