Introduction
This portfolio will be discussed the project activity, which will be initiated by using the
development program of Berry Street. In this project, it requires to identify the gap between the
achievement and aim of the organization. It is a community which works for child development
and provide the best childhood. Still, there is a lack of awareness regarding this community. This
project set the objective that it will spread among the rural and international public that there is
an organization which works for child development and protects from child abuse. For this help,
the organization requires a donation from rich and wealthy by which organization can able to
help the children and families without any cost. This portfolio includes details regarding the
project.

1. Articulates the need/gap, and shows evidence of this need/gap
Berry Street is a community organizer who works for the public service. It is an Australian
charity established in 1877. It is working for children protection and caring. Its vision is that all
the children survive in a good childhood, having good hope in the future and feeling safe for the
rest of their life. This community starts working in various metropolitan cities and rural areas as
well. It provides services in education, disability services, cares like homes etc. Protect from
those risk which is faced by the children. It is the best way to prevent abuse. Its focus areas are
providing safe homes to the children, heal the childhood trauma, build the stronger families, help
the children to learn and raised the voice against the child abuse (Mendes, & Meade, 2014).
The gaps identified in this community service are that people are not much aware of this service,
and still, many of the children are surviving in the same situation. Most of the stepchildren are
facing child abuse, and they can’t be able to raise their voice against. The vision of the
organization is to help the children provide them to enjoy their childhood, but they need to
spread awareness in every area. This organization currently provides service in Australia itself,
but it requires expanding its service in the international market.
It founds that child development is in the hand of its parents, its environment and its teacher. So,
need to improve that it is difficult for the service that understands the different situation and
provides its service. Thus, according to the vision service need to build their target to the related
individual.
Service needs to be improved the violence rate in because family violence creates disturbance in
the growth of development of children; the child felt unsafe in their existing environment.
Another gap measured in the service is that employees of the organization need to start
practicing at their own home and nearer area. The aim of the organization does not only earn
income from the funds, but its goal is also to make their nation free from child abuse and build
their child development.
It faces the lack of promotional strategies, due to this aspect, people do not know. Most of the
people are not aware of their children development. When they become young, they face the
consequences of these activities (Lansford, et. al 2019).

The gaps identified in the service are that the organization is not able to collect fund in a proper
amount. The large organization or wealthy people are not donating fund for providing a safe
home to the children, for the training and employment who instruct in the rural area, school etc.

2. Broad aims of the project
This project aims to identify the challenges and risk in this service. The objective of the
organization to makes free from child abuse and build the healthy development of childhood.
This project evaluates the circumstance which affects the goal of service, why community not
able to achieve their aim appropriately. This project helps to measure the performance of
employees and identifies the barrier in achieving the goal. The community have not sufficient
fund, so they are not above to make their organization globally. So, it needs to require why
people are not donating fund (Delaney & Karnik, 2019). The project helps to identify the
problem statement in which it needs to works and continue the further task accordingly. It’s main
focus on how to minimize the resource or fund and provide training to the number of people.
Like, community need to conduct a workshop in rural areas in which the event coordinator stays
with the families and observe what kind of behaviour, the attitude of the parent towards their
children. This project helps in finding the alternatives training method, or how to get the
approval of safe homes to the children.
This project aims to spread awareness among children in private and public schools. It also
taught them if they are facing any abuse or something unwanted incident. Inform them they will
surely help them. This training also provides in the hospital as well to the pregnant ladies that if
they are facing any unwanted activities in their home. They need to require contact with
community services because these children have the right to survive their childhood correctly.
These projects will help the spread the awareness among every person that how this childhood is
significant to the children. In the childhood stage, the mental ability and capability will help to
grow.
Due to this project, people will be aware of the service of Berry Street. People will determine
what their stakeholders are, and what the visions of this community are. It represents that Berry
Street need to expand in other nation as well. From this service, one day every child of this earth
lives their childhood in a proper and their mental ability will continuously grow and strong
(Kaye, et. al., 2018).

4. An outline of internal and external stakeholders that need to be considered in developing
a communication strategy to support project implementation
The internal stakeholders required for this project are employees of Berry Street, doctors, project
manager are responsible for achieving the goal of this project. The internal stakeholder manages
the resources according to and contributes decision in making the process. It expands the level of
service from one area to another. By the help of active participation of each stakeholder will
maximize the service list, it increases the performance of each stakeholder. Employees help in
the project to share the records and maintain the new service areas. Doctors are also important
stakeholder for this project because it requires identifying the mental health of children. The
project manager is also an internal stakeholder of this project because its responsibility is to
allocate the task, inform how the resource and majority decision will be contributed by them only
(Noorwali & Madhavji, 2018).
The external stakeholders will need to be considered for these project area vulnerable children,
families and wealthy people who contribute to the development of their children. It is the
responsibility of each internal stakeholder to participate in every event. Children and families
need to implement in their family and other families as well. The vulnerable children help to
share their experience after connecting with this service and help other children as well. These
families who are not able to understand the consequence of this kind of behaviour on the children
will need to take one step forward. After connecting with Berry Street, they need to take good
decision in accordance with child development. This project requires connecting more and more
families and putting their efforts to understand the theory behind this service. Another external
stakeholder of this project is wealthy or rich who can donate the fund for helping the children.
The project requires a proper list of rich people of the nation who will surely contribute the fund
as a charity to the Berry Street. It enhances the morale of the community and able to promote the
activity by using advanced technology. If the organization have sufficient fund, they can provide
a large number of employments to the individual and able to conduct the training method by
using sophisticated technology (Nguyen, et. al., 2018).

project. It needs to play role of tester as well. In which the duties of
testing the project until it doesn’t satisfy to the client (Matilainen, et. al.,
2018).
