Weekly Journals
Week 1
This week was the first week of the research paper assessment which we had been provided with.
I am looking forward to working with my team and carrying out the research procedure as this is
my first experience about working in a group for my assessments and that too carrying out the
research paper and associated analysis. In line with this, it can be adequately mentioned that, we
have been formally introduced to one another and hence, we have decided to meet in the second
week of the timeline so as to divide the responsibilities and decide upon the associated topics
which may be deemed suitable for the purpose of the study.
Week 2
In this week, our team got together in order to decide upon the associated research topic and
related study procedure. It is in this week where we got together and after a considerate research
procedure we decided that, we should be working on a topic associated with the Covid 19. The
Covid 19 is a global pandemic which has affected the global operations of all businesses.
Although all team members did not attend the meeting we decided upon the topic whereby
COMMON WEALTH BANK VS WESTPAC had been selected for the examination. It is in this
week, that our team decided to meet regularly.
Week 3
In the third week, we decided to proceed with the division of the associated tasks as involved in
the research work. We were able to identify that many of us did not have any adequate
experience about the research procedure and the manner in which the research work had to be
undertaken. Although this had an adequate effect on our morals, we decided to ensure that we
were able to manage the associated operations adequately and take the guidance of our tutor.
Week 4
Several problems propped up in this week of our research. It can be adequately understood that,
we started problems being associated with the division of work. In our meeting work last week,

we had divided the task of carryout the initial research into several associated parts but in this
week when we got together to discuss and check the progress of our work, we found that several
participants were not serious about the work. In addition to this, it can be understood that, several
participants were absolutely clueless about the manner in which the work had to be carried out.
Week 5
Hence, in this week, we gained the assistance of our tutor to resolve the issue. She undertook a
productive session with each one of us and made us understand the importance of the research
procedure. In line with this, it can be considered critical to note that, the team members got
together, became more serious and in assistance with this, were able to work together as a team.
In line with this, we were able to gather all associated information which thereby assisted us to
complete the work on time.
Week 6
In this week, all the participants will be effectively required to see to it that they submitted the
work. I was responsible for the first section of the paper. Other participants who were effectively
engaged in the other parts were able to understand the means using which the research would be
required to be carried out and were also able to identify the manner in which the research
objectives had to be attained. It is in this week that we were able to complete the work on time
and ensure that all the operations were carried out in an effective manner.
Week 7
This was the 7th week of the research whereby we received the feedback of the research proposal
and we started working on the proposal accordingly. In association with this we were adequately
able to work on the research report. The work was divided amongst the different team mates and
it was adequately decided that each of the team members would be given an opportunity to work
on their previous topic and come together for conclusion. Hence, I got the Introduction part and
half of conclusion as well. I was able to gain assistance of the team members and worked
diligently.
Week 8

In this week, I faced a dilemma whereby, I was not being able to focus on my work. The reason
for this was that I was unable to identify the manner in which I would be required to balance my
work life with the associated personal life. It is at this point of time, that I was facing certain
issues pertaining to which, I was not being able to focus on any aspect associated with the work
and hence, I was not being able to understand the manner in which I would complete my work.
Here I took assistance from the different team members and was able to resolve the issue and
understand the associated aspects.
Week 9
In this week while completing on the project, we faced different team conflicts. In such a
scenario, the different associated individuals as involved in the team were unable to understand
which research method had to be adopted. In such a scenario, it becomes essential that we had to
resolve our uses on our own and considering this, decide on the secondary research methodology
which would be required for the study.
Week 10
In the 10th week due to the spread of the Coronavirus we faced considerate difficulties whereby
we were not being able to get together for the meetings and hence, faced disruption regarding the
completion of the associated project. As the different members of the enterprise were involved in
different locations, we found it increasingly difficult to understand the means to actively
communicate with one another. In association with this, we had to do most of the work online
and in association with this; we were required to manage with work online
Week 11
Although we faced a large number of issues while carrying out the associated problems, it can be
rightfully mentioned that, we were able to handle the associated issue with utmost care. We fixed
a daily time which we could fix to generate associated meetings and in line with this, it can be
considerately critical that, through associated efforts we were able to combat against this issue
and were successfully able to identify the manner in which the operations have to be carried out
and completed the work.
Week 12

At the end of the twelve weeks, we were finally ready with the work. We once again
divided the associated responsibilities and tasks between the different team members. With this
initiative the associated members were asked to make the presentation on those questions which
were relevant to their part of the report. Through this procedure, I was able to engage in a
successful team project which helped me in gaining a variety of skills such as research and being
along with helping me to understand the manner in which individuals need to work in a team
together to achieve successful outcomes. Through his initiative I was able to become better at
research work and was able to participate in meetings and associated interactions even during the
times of pandemic.

Reflective Journal
Team work is not any easy task. In consideration with this, it is effective to understand
that team work requires considerate coordination and associated team assistance which is quite
critical to undertake. In association with this, it can be agreed critically important to mention
that, for a team to be successful in achieving its associated objectives, the different members are
required to work together. In line with this, it is essential to state that while undertaking
participation in this team I was successfully able to understand the means in which, the team
requires to work together.
Hence, when I was able to work in a team, I took up the associated role of a coordinator.
In line with this, I was responsible for seeing to it that, the team members are working together,
engaging in carrying out the responsibilities very well. Additionally, it is effective to state that, I
carried out my entire responsibilities well. However, in line with this, I faced certain issues in
seeing to it that the different team mates were being able to carry out their overall goals in an
effective manner. Hence, in association with this, it can be effectively mentioned that, it can be
mentioned that once when I was facing problems in my personal life, then in such a scenario, I
took assistance from various team members and in consideration with this I was able to
undertake a balance in my personal as well as the professional life.
In these studies, I was able to undertake a considerate number of skills with the help of
which I was able to become a better professional. In line with this, it can be mentioned that, I
undertook considerate initiatives and was able to successfully learn communication, research as
well as writing skills. The market research which I was successfully able to undertake, would
assist me in the long run and would thereby ensure that I am being able to carry out a similar line
of research for work purposes. In consideration with this, from the study, I was able to identify
various aspects which were associated with the latest line of the study. The reports and proposal
has taught me about the associated concepts related to the Covid 19 and in consideration with
this, was able to understand in great depth the influence of the Covid 19 as a pandemic on the
overall performance of the business as a whole and particularly
Hence, in the future, I intend to ensure that I will be able to carry out the associated
research procedures in an effective manner and will be able to ensure that I am able to diverse

my skills and focus on parts other than just the conclusion. Through this, I will be able to gain
my associated skills and objectives and will be able to ensure that I am ready for my future job as
a Market researcher. Marketing has a key role to play in the business domain and hence I will be
required to engage in effective operations.
