1FOUNDATIONS OF A BIBLE-BASED CHRIST-CENTERED WORLDVIEW
1. Description
The main theme that this paper discusses on is about the loving nature of God for the
human beings. It has been described in the Bible that God is considered to be the father of the
human beings and it is, therefore, His responsibility to take care of all the human beings in
random order. God has created all the human beings in his image only. Thus, God can be
considered as the father of all the human beings. So, he has to play the role of the proper father in
this world. He has to protect all His children who are the human beings and all the creatures in
this world from all the evils and deadly diseases and negative impacts. God is one of the most
important parts of the Holy Trinity (Noble 2013). In this book named The Father Heart of God,
the author depicts about the great painting of Stedelijk museum that has been titled as Man. This
point can be countered by saying by comparing these contexts with the various Christian
Scriptures. This painting by Karel Apple was primarily named as My Father. In general
situations, the human beings consider the God as the loving father to whom they show their
ultimate love and respect. There are many people who believe God to be the father and want to
meet him in personal. However, it is impossible to do so since he is only an impersonal entity
(Bass 2012).
According to the Bible, it is believed that Sundays are the days on which all the
Christians gather at the Church to show their love and respect for the God. They engage in the
mass prayer where they confess their sins, pray for the well-being of their families and children
and other things that can be considered as crucial for their lives. Most of the human beings desire
that peace should be all over there (Borg and Wright 2014). A new viewpoint has been added in
this book to address God Himself. It is the desire of the human beings has to build a strong
relationship with the God that will take them closer to Him. All these attempts go in vain because

God cannot be seen by the human beings. This book has portrayed the fact that God has created
the human beings in His image only, although in a smaller scale. God had sent the human beings
into this earth to spread the message of love rather than engaging in warfare and disturbing the
peaceful situation between the human beings. God wants to protect all His creation and he wants
to secure it by any means (Milne 2012). The selfishness of the human beings has stopped the
society in acting in the way God has wanted the human beings to do.
God has permitted the freedom to all the human beings so that they can go out and
perform their activities (Kastenbaum 2015). The selfishness of the human beings has been the
barrier to do common good for the society. In this book, it has been depicted that human beings
fall into sins and God has sent Jesus Christ to save the human beings from the wrath of
damnation. Both God and His son, Jesus Christ has been very much affectionate to the human
beings and the author has noticed that grief is the main reason for the human beings leads them
to sin (Kasper 2012).
2. Analysis
The different themes of the book will have to be analyzed in this particular piece. The
chief themes of the book circle around the sinfulness of the human beings and the loving nature
of God. The God heals all the wounds in the human beings. Another aspect that has been pointed
in this aspect is that of the ‘emotional wounds’. These wounds do not let the human beings to
understand the benevolence of God (Johnson 2015). God looks after all His children but some
people have experienced different stories in their personal lives as well. When the human beings
call God, they do not hesitate to call Him as the father but some people have this obligation.

Some human beings feel it to be very uncomfortable to call someone father whom they cannot
even see (Johnson 2015).
It has been believed in Bible that all the Human beings who believe in Him can call
themselves to be His children. God has all the power in the world to control the activities of the
human beings. Human beings must believe that God sent Jesus Christ to this earth to establish
peace. However, Jesus was crucified by a set of betrayers and then He was resurrected. The
different stories in the book present the fact Jesus was respectful and loving to all the sects of the
human beings in the society and he never disappointed any of them. Any person who has not got
any respect from his family and friends and in utter despair, he tries to escape from this earth. In
the next phase, God comes to the aid of the human beings and thus He saves the human beings
from the miseries of their lives.
If it is supposed that the childhood of a person has been haunted by the tortures of his or
her father, he or she will never be able to understand the loving nature of the father that the God
actually represents. In this book, the stories of Michal, David and the others have revealed that
the human beings have been can get committed to the acts of selfishness (Fee and Stuart 2014).
In this context, the question of the ‘broken spirit’ can be raised (Talbott 2014). Jesus Christ has
always depicted the earth to be the land of mercifulness and the human beings should always be
merciful from every aspect (Parton 2015). He is compassionate, loving and a forgiving person
who can definitely be called the father. Jesus took care of the Jewish children whose mothers
who came to Him for blessing them. He also talked to the Samaritan woman publicly despite
knowing that it would be considered as a despicable act. Jesus is the human form of God of earth
and He never disappoints anyone in this regard (Edwards 2014).

3. Personal Reflection
I would like to discuss about my viewpoints after reading the first section of the book.
This book reflects the fact of God to be looked to be the loving father. I should therefore
comment that God indeed exists at the first place and He takes care of all His children. The cases
where human beings do not consider God to be the loving father can be portrayed as the case
where God takes the test of the patience of the human beings and makes them repent their past
misdeeds. God wants his followers to pass the test of endurance that he is taking. After reading
the book, I must say that God is benevolent and He takes care of all the human beings. God
wants to end all the miseries of the human beings so that they can lead a better life for
themselves. He wants that all the human beings act in a way that they can attain salvation and do
not have to tolerate the wrath of damnation and the fire of Hell.
On earth, people believe Jesus Christ to be the God Himself because he is truly the
human form of God on this earth. I came to know from the writings of the author that the Jewish
people hated the Samaritans to the extreme. Jesus talked to a Samaritan woman one day and this
proves that the He loves all the human beings in the same way. I have also come to know from
the Bible that Jesus has spread the message of love all over the world through the sermons and
Scriptures. The Christian Scriptures convey that the human beings are the elements of love from
God and God tries His utmost best to protect them from any evil being caused to them. The
treatment that the Samaritan woman had received is the original image of God. I strongly believe
that God has kept something positive for everyone in this world. If human beings commit good
deeds all the time, no sin can ever touch them and they will be blessed by the God Himself.
The sins the human beings commit lead them to the fire of damnation. I think that the
human beings should always do such virtuous things by which they can achieve greatness and

present themselves to be of great social stature. I believe that the human beings begin their lives
as little babies who are dependent on parents and this dependence slowly goes away as they get
adults with time. I think the book reflects the fact that little babies should grow up and feel the
caring love of their fathers. Thus, they will understand the loving nature of God as well who the
father is as well.
