particular customer. All these details are present to both the driver and the customer (Pinto,
2015). The customer gets the details of all the drivers including their name and other
necessary details. Furthermore, the application also depicts a clear result of the estimated cost
of the journey. The customer gets to see the real time responses of all the drivers. These
drivers would be bidding next ten minutes for that specific customer and the moment the
customer thinks any one of the driver has bided price according to his comfort, he would
click on the conform button and thus his booking would be confirmed. Moreover, the price
the customer has booked his taxi, will be locked and under no circumstances, that price
would be changed (Zhao et al., 2013). Payment can be done even without credit or debit
cards and with Osko or any other purchase cards at the end of the journey. It is extremely safe
and secured as the Global Positioning System or GPS is present in all the phones of the
drivers as well as the customers.

feature of bidding facility. The drivers bid within the ten minutes of customer confirmation.
This particular feature is absent in any other taxi services in the world and thus it has become
explicitly famous in its terms (Sennewald & Baillie, 2015). Moreover, this business
comprises of various important and significant business operations that are very vital for the
organization. The various vital business operations of this BidTaxi are given below:
i) Confirmation of Booking: This is the first and the foremost important business
operation within BidTaxi. The entire process of booking or confirming any taxi or cab is
extremely simple or without any complexities. Due to this simplicity in booking any of the
cabs, all the customers have the ability to do this process effectively and with utmost
efficiency (Galliers & Leidner, 2014). Two separate formats are provided to the customers
and drivers. Both of them have to register with the application in the beginning for going with
other activities. Once, this registration is completed, the customer will have to enter all the

Once, this registration is completed, the customer would have to enter the details regarding
his or her journey. As soon as he or she would enter the details of the journey, all the
available drivers get a specific notification on their mobile phones. They would be able to see
the requirements of the journey and thus, easily and systematically, the drivers would be
bidding for the next ten minutes about the cost of the journey (Laudon & Laudon, 2016). The
drivers will not be able to check each other’s bidding; however the customers would be
having a real time check on the responses of the drivers. Several vital and significant business
operations are present within the business. The payment system is very easy and can be easily
executed by all individuals. The application of BidTaxi has an Accounting Information
System embedded within itself and thus all types of benefits that are related to the
information technology are present here. The price is locked as soon as the booking is done

very important for all types of transportation businesses. Each and every driver should be
properly trained so that no exists no loophole in the quality of driving (Al-Mamary,
Shamsuddin & Abdul Hamid, 2013). This training should be provided with various motor
skills. Furthermore, tests should be taken for all of them so that the business can understand
the importance and skills of the drivers. If the driver would pass the examination, then only
they would be allowed to driver and if not, they would be stopped.
ii) Online Tracker: The next suggestion to the business is the incorporation of an
online tracker within the application (Pinto, 2015). This particular feature would help the
business owner to track all the cars and thus security would be maintained.
