AI Summary
This essay delves into the Big Bang Theory, providing a comprehensive overview of its core concepts and the scientific evidence that supports it. It begins by defining the Big Bang and explaining how it accounts for the universe's origins. The essay then examines key pieces of evidence, including Hubble's law, the cosmic microwave background radiation, and the abundance of light elements like hydrogen and helium. It also describes the major events that occurred during and after the Big Bang, such as the expansion of the universe, the formation of light elements, and the development of stars and galaxies. Finally, the essay addresses the perspectives of creationists, contrasting their views with the scientific understanding of the Big Bang Theory and the evolution of the universe. The essay uses references from scientific journals to support its claims and provides a clear, concise explanation of this complex topic.

The Big Bang theory
Concept of Big Bang
The Big Bang theory was made so that it can explain the occurrences to what led to the
beginning of our universe (Bednarek, 2012). There are several discoveries in astronomy and
physics proving that the universe had a beginning and prior to that, there was no universe. This
Big Bang theory is plausible because it comes out clearly to explain what happened before and
after the universe came to existence. There are many evidence today to support the theory despite
the misconceptions it might come with.
First if we consider Hubble’s law, which claims that galaxies appeared to be moving
apart from one another at speeds that is proportional to their distance (Dunlop, 2012). This law
supports the argument about the expansion of the universe and also it is clear that the universe
was compacted. In addition, everything got a beginning and for sure the universe had a
beginning. The cosmic microwave background radiation with high heat is another prove to the
big bang theory since it suggests that the universe was very hot initially. Finally, hydrogen and
helium which are the light elements are found in the universe and their abundance supports the
big bang theory. Hence, the Big Bang theory is plausible.
Events of Big Bang that led to present future
According to my point of view, the big bang is not an explosion as insinuated by the
name of the theory “bang” suggests but instead, it is an appearance of space in each place of the
universe. The universe came to existence as a very hot, dense and single point universe. The age
of the universe as stated by NASA who launched Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe
(WMAP) in 2001 is about 13.7 billion years old ("Big Bang Theory", 2018). From the events,

the universe was just a growth spurt that expanded enormously to double its size 90 times. As it
expanded, it cooled and became denser. After this inflation, growth continued at a slower rate
and matter was formed. In the expansion process, light elements such as hydrogen and helium
formed. The recombination phase led to formation of light that can be detected in the form of
radiation. There were more starts and galaxies were formed and also it birthed the solar system
after the big bang process.
Creationists ‘beef’ with science
Creationists have attacked science in a number of ways over the past years and their view
point are mutually exclusive. The belief in the creation is manifested in the genesis which they
consider to be scientific and claim the big bang theory and evolution to be false. Some of these
creationists belief their theory to be creation science though they cannot table facts as scientists
in order for them to proof their theory. They beefed up long time ago to an extent of creationist
advocating that creation tales should be taught in schools as science in the U.S schools along
with other scientific theories. Unfortunately it was ruled to be unconstitutional. The history of
science is clearly indicated that it cannot remain forever unchanged over time but further
improvements are always made not like the ones of creationist who claim theirs is irrefutable and
an absolute truth ("Creationism and Creation Science", 2018).
