Answer to question no. 1(iii)
In Canvas in particular the explanatory design theory is used in particular (Nidagundi. and
Novickis., 2017). this theory in particular provides an explanation that is functional regarding the
aspects which are based on the question of why does a particular or specific solution has various
components in accordance to the needs or the requirements that is specified in the design in

particular. for the development of the design in canvas in particular a bunch of steps are used. This
is done by selecting the “rocket” icon which appears on the top corner on the right side of the
canvas, this will launch design tools on the right side of the page in particular. the major features of
canvas in particular are that it is cloud- based open- source platform, it is a collaborative workspace,
web standard browser, open API, the user is allowed to upload as well as record video or audio
messages, LTI integrations and also there is an availability of content customization too. Through
using canvas in particular it helps in sustainable growth and also encourages eco- friendliness as the
assignments and the documents are kept within Canvas which helps in saving ink and paper in
particular.
Answer to question no. 1(iv)
There are five major steps through which designing in MS office in particular can be done in a
specific and precise manner (Kuriakose., 2016). This also ensures that the quality that is generated
is on point and good. The first and the most important step of design development in the MS office
in particular is denial. In this step particularly and specifically the denial is made in a position or a
state where nothing feels right and the user feels numb regarding the designs, but through this they
become stronger. This happens through addition of a new set of skills to the tool box in particular.
next step is anger, in this stage the user is full of rage and is very dedicated to know the answers to
the questions in their mind, but this is an anchor in providing temporary structure. Next step is
bargaining, in this step the reality is set in. by which the user tends to incline towards reducing the
work by doing things like, restoring Adobe Suite, etc. In the next step frustration strikes and then
acceptance regarding the designing. In this linear engineering design is used for sequential
designing and there are conventional tools of engineering.
Answer to question no. 2(i)
Decision support system which is particularly abbreviated as DSS is basically a program which is
computerized and is specifically used for the purpose of supporting the judgements, courses and
determinations of an action in particular within a company or an organization (Khodashahri. and
Sarabi., 2018). This system precisely focuses on gathering or collecting and analysing or evaluating
data and further synthesizing the data to produce the comprehensive reports of information. This is
a factor which specifically differentiates the decision support system from other applications whose
core function is collection of data only. The DSS can be both fully powered by the humans or
completely computerized.
The example of DSS are, firstly, the GPS route planning which helps in determination of the best
and the fastest route between the starting location and the destination. Another example is, the
medical diagnosis software that allows and supports the medical personnel for diagnosing illness.
Answer to question no. 2(ii)
Executive support system which is generally abbreviated as the ESS majorly focuses on collection
of the data or information from the internal as well as the external sources (Nugroho. and Ali.,
2022). This system in particular is comparatively user friendly than the other operating systems.
The ESS in particular is also more interactive as well as more flexible too. The system specifically
supports the top-level management through providing them with information regarding the critical
areas of activities of the organization from the external and the internal databases. Hence, the
system is very helpful in understand and evaluating the issues faced by the company.
The example of ESS in organization is, Cambridge systematics in which ESS helps in supporting
the investment planning procedures particularly for Ministry of transportation. Another example is
Barclays, which uses this system in particular to deal with the information related to market share
and product sales.

Transaction processing system whose abbreviation is TPS is a system which deals with the
information that is concerned with the routine as well as operational level tasks or activities (Petrov.
and et.al., 2019). This system in particular includes collection of data, modification of data and then
retrieval of that transactional data. The major features of the transaction processing system in
particular are consistency, performance and reliability. The other name for this system is also real-

also requires user interaction and the results of every transaction are available immediately. And
also, there are no delays in this system.
The examples of the transaction processing system in particular involve, the system of hotel
reservations in the hotels, and another example is preparation and maintenance of employee records
within an organization.

Management information systems that is in particular abbreviated as MIS is basically a study of the
technology, people and organizations and the relations between them (Meeßen. Thielsch.. and
Hertel., 2020). This system in particular helps or supports the organizations to identify or recognize
the maximum levels of benefits that the organization can have by investing in equipment, business
processes and also personnel. This system is used for the purpose of collection, storage as well as
dissemination of the data. The system is majorly used for decision- making in particular. It is a field
that is people- oriented which emphasizes on the providing services by the technology.
The examples of the transactions that include MIS in particular are order processing for a business
or also an e- commerce business or company. Another example can be payroll processing within a
company regarding the salaries of the employees.

Knowledge management system in particular refers to a centralized depository which is used for the
purpose of organizing, storing and further sharing the organizational knowledge with the customers
as well as the employees of the organization or the business in particular (Baharuddin. and et.al.,
2016). through capturing information within this system, it is particularly ensured that the
employees are easily able to access the data or the information required by them in time even if the
holder of the knowledge has left the company or switched their jobs. It is designed for the purpose
of improving the operational efficiency of the company or organization.
The example of KMS in particular is the Tableau’s knowledge base which includes the search
function through which the users get answers. Another example is customer service knowledge
base, which helps in collection and evaluation of the data or the information regarding the issues of
customers.

Globalization specifically refers to the interdependency of the populations, cultures and economies
of the world in particular which is done by trading of goods and the services, trade of technology,
flow of the investments, information as well as people across the different borders of the countries
of the world (Smith., 2018). This basically leads to interaction and also the integration between the
companies, governments and people all across the world. It allows or supports the individuals or
groups of individuals with different backgrounds to connect freely.
IT has impacted globalization majorly, some of the effects are:
 Through implementation of information technology within companies or organizations the
costs that were incurred for the purpose of doing communication has been particularly
reduced. Through video calling and online meetings and webinars communicating with
different businesses has become very easy.
 Also, the costs related to transportation have reduced too. Because it is not necessary to
travel for dealing on global basis due to technological advancements. Also, this particularly
facilitates the sourcing of the raw materials and the other necessary inputs. The company
can also reduce the prices due to reduced costs.
 Due to advancements in the IT sector, the technology has become easy to transfer to the
developing countries where the production that is high tech can be linked with the
employees that require low wages.

Broadband refers to system of telecommunication in which a wide band of the frequencies are
precisely used for the purpose of transmission of data or the information in particular (Abdullah.
and Ameen., 2021). there are majorly two types of the broadband connections that are specifically
based on methods or techniques of the access of internet in particular. the two categories are
namely, mobile and fixed line broadband connections. This connection is becoming extremely
popular in the present times due to its major feature of affordability. Mainly for the companies or
organizations it helps in enhancing the levels of profit generation. It basically focuses on providing
internet access to the customers that is high- speed. The system can send as well as multiplex
information on a large number of channels which in turn allows more and more transmission of the
information at a particular or given time. Broadband specifically makes use of the fibre optic cables
for the purpose of delivering high- speed information or data over wider and greater distances.
Broadband is connected always and has removed the requirement of dial- ups. There are six types
of technologies of broadband, DSL (digital subscriber line), fiber, wireless, BPL (broadband over
power lines), cable modem and satellite.
Advantages
 The speed that the technology or the system in particular offers is the around 100 times
faster than that of a dial- up connection.
 There are less failures faced by the broadband connection in accordance to the dial- up
connection. Hence, it is more reliable.
 The connection is available for 24 hours and 7 days, there is no wastage of time and the
technical glitches are also very less.
 The connection is very consistent which makes experiencing disconnections almost
impossible. The level of consistency is amazing.
Disadvantages
 The connection in particular costs more in comparison to the dial- up connection. The
charges are usually charged on monthly basis whether the internet is used or not.
 The connection has enormous speed but it is not guaranteed that it will always be the same.
Downfalls in ISP will impact the speed.
 The broadband connection is available always due to which they are vulnerable to the
security threats.
 The people who reside in rural areas face issues in accessing the connection.

Cloud services refer to the infrastructure, software or the platforms which are particularly hosted by
the third- party givers or providers and are made available and accessible to the users or the
customers through internet services (Ghahramani. Zhou. and Hon., 2017). Cloud services
specifically facilitates the motion of the user data from the front- end users or clients to the systems
of the providers, by the use of internet and then back again to the clients. The cloud services can be
accessed by the users with just a computer, an operating system and an internet connectivity in
particular. the cloud services are majorly relied on the software and the hardware like all the other
IT solutions. A very widely accepted cloud service is called the cloud software or the SaaS. This
can particularly be provided by using cloud- native approach in particular. the cloud in particular
has totally transformed the way in which the consumers and the businesses interact with internet,
software and data storage too. Almost 90 % of the companies or organizations have already
implemented the use of cloud at some extent in particular. it precisely includes three major areas
IaaS (infrastructure as a service), PaaS (platform as a service) and SaaS (software as a service).
Advantages
 It helps in reduction of the costs as the cloud provider is responsible for the hassles that are
associated with maintenance, utility management and infrastructure.
 It makes restoring the data and getting back- up of data if it is saved in the cloud, then it is
safe.
 This improves the collaboration levels by allowing individuals or groups of individuals to
share information in a quick and easy manner.

from anywhere in the world.
Disadvantages
 The information in the cloud is accessed by the use of internet, if the internet connectivity is
low or not present then the data cannot be accessed.
 Different vendors usually provide differentiated platforms, and moving from one cloud to
the other one can be difficult and cause vendor lock- in.
 The cloud users have low control over the services as the cloud infrastructure is wholly
owned and managed by the cloud provider.
 All the sensitive and crucial information of the organization is sent to a third party when
using cloud services, the information can be hacked which makes it less secure.
