Introduction to research domain
It has been seen that the application of the big data technology has significant impact
on the functionalities driven by the government. It is an emerging technology that will help
to collect the data from the individuals. After the collection of the data those data are
processed in a proper way. The sorting of the data is done through the application of the tools
and the software used for the big data analysis. It has been seen that the use of big data has
helped the government to increase the efficiency and the decision making process for
initialization of the plan has been improved for the government. The main objective of this
paper is to understand the different aspects of the big data technology those has been
discussed previously. On the basis of the findings the project closer report will indicate the
conclusion for the selected research topic.
Research questions
 What are the ways in which Big Data tools can be used by the Government?
 Which sectors will be impacted with the implementation of these tools?
 What is the methodology that shall be adopted for implementation at such a large-
scale?
 What are the issues and concerns that may appear?
Literature Review
In the research and findings the use or the application of the big data technology in the
government sector has found out. It has been seen that the application of the big data can be
done through the conceptual framework in the development of the project. Apart from that
the field those will be benefitted in the government sector after the implementation of the big
data tools can be done through this emerging technology. However, from the results
regarding the application of big data it has been seen that there are certain issues those are
present in the application of the big data technology.

In order to find the impact of the big data technology for the government, exploratory
research method is used. Apart from that qualitative research methodology is used for the
development of the research and findings. In this context, the detailed planning regarding the
requirement and the procurement. Apart from that the execution phase is carried out in a
proper in order to understand the significance of the research topic.
From the research it has been found out that the use of the big data big data helps the
government in the decision making process regarding national security and the education
system. Apart from that it has been found out the analysis of the external data sources will
help the government organization to find out the flaws in the national security. On the basis
of the findings the government can take the proper decisions and the can take reformation
regarding the security.
Apart from that from that it has been seen that the use of the big data analytics is
helping the government to understand the interests of the students. Apart from that it has been
seen that the knowing of the interests of the students will be helpful for the government to
take educational reformation steps.
The improvement of the government health care sector can be done through the using
of the big data analysis. The data can be collected from the citizen regarding the required
steps for the development of the health care system. This will indicate the gap between the
existing system and the required system. Further improvement can be made on the basis of
this findings.
Apart from that the use of the big data technology can be used for diminishing the
unemployment. The use of big data technology in the organization will be helpful to
understand the needs for the human resource on the basis of the proficiency rate. As for
example, it can be accomplished through the rate of number of graduating students every

year. Apart from that the judgement of the merit of the individuals can be evaluated through
the use of the big data technology.
Discussion
All these outcome indicates the advantages of using the big data technology in the
government sector. However, it has been seen that there are some of the risks associated with
this application. From the findings and results it has been seen that the main problem
regarding the implementation of the big data in the government sector is the technical risk.
There is a possibility that the implementation may not be successful and is not going to
provide the proper outcome. Moreover, not many technical experts are familiar about the
application of the big data.
The idea regarding the big data technology is not clear. Apart from that it has been
seen there are two perspective of the big data technology- business perspective and technical
perspective. It has been seen that most of the experts are aware about the technical
perspective. Most of the experts are aware about the technical perspective of the project.
They are aware about the use of the tools for application of the big data technology.
However, it has been seen that the business perspective of the big data technology is not
evaluated in a proper way.
Apart from the expertise issue, there are some issues regarding the security of using
the big data technology. It has been seen that through the use of the big data technology, the
government can get certain benefits. However, there can be a problem regarding the
implementation of the security in the system. In case, if the data is breached in the system,
this can become security issue for both the organizations and the individuals.

Findings
During the compilation of the project some of the lessons are learnt regarding the
conduction of the project. It has been seen that there are certain steps those are needed to be
followed during the course of the compilation of the project.
From the compilation of the project, it has been seen that the gathering of the
requirements is important as it will help to mitigate the scope creep in the development of the
project. The presence of the scope creep in the project will become the constraint in the
development of the project. Apart from that, it has been seen that the presence of scope creep
in the project will raise the possibility of the project to be delivered after the time.
Apart from the evaluation of the requirements in a proper way, there is a need for the
proper assessment of the risks. It has been seen that the proper assessment of the risks will
help to mitigate the impact from the changed situation on the project. Apart from that the
assessment of the risk will help to deliver the quick response plan that will help the
government to mitigate the impact of the damage as quickly as possible.
It has been seen that development and the conduction of the research needs the proper
steps to be followed. In this situation, the selection of the topic is needed to be done in a
proper way. Apart from that there is a need for the proper method for the selection of the
project topic. The selection of the topic is needed to be relevant. Apart from that there is a
need for the proper development of the progress report and the progress timeline. The
modules of the tasks are needed to be assigned within the deadline. This will help in the
overall delivery of the project in a proper way. Apart from that it has been seen that using the
proper risks assessment will be helpful and it can be done through the work break down
structure. The risks associated with the each of the modules can be understood from the work

research topic is regarding the use of the big data in the government. In order to do the
project in a proper way, there are certain steps those are needed to be followed. The paper has
discussed the importance of maintaining the requirement analysis. Apart from that the
advantages and the challenges regarding the use of big data in the government have been
discussed in a proper way. It can be said that with the use of the big data technology
government can achieve the efficiency. Apart from that, it has been seen that the use of the
big data can pose certain challenges for the government organizations. There are some of the
risks mitigation plan those are needed to be included during the development of the research.
The risk mitigation plan will help the government organizations to take the quick actions if
any risks can take place during the implementation process. Apart from that from the
discussion it can be said that the government has to be aware about the use of the business
