Introduction
With the rapid development of the construction industry, the projects are found to be complex.
Hence, the different information technology system is based on the project information
management, where the 3D object oriented system contains the geometric and the non-geometric
information for building a better information modelling system. The IT based structures are also
related to the technology change. The BIM also works on the stipulated time and the quality
which includes the conventional methods that relate to the different parties which are involved in
the process of construction. The conventional methods are based on how BIM, being an effective
tool is able to handle the multi-disciplinary construction project environment. It is also important
for the fragmented entity for the historical and the economical standards which impose the limits
to innovation. The risks are found to be discontinuous depending upon the increased costs and
the delays. The knowledge management is considered to be the process for the collection, and
the creation, storage and proper reuse of the data with the problem solving texts. There have been
large investments in manpower, time and money that relates to the vital tool of the construction
management. Here, the projects are also related to manage the designing, procurement and the
system handling in the effective manner. The primary purpose of BIM is to work on the use of
animated illustrations of the information. The BIM based knowledge sharing management
system is to focus on how the building project of Taiwan is able to handle the process related to
the construction knowledge with the sharing management at the time of construction phase.

storing, sharing and making use of the barriers and the drivers that includes the model for
determining the risks mitigation methods. (Han et al., 2016).
BIM for the construction
A great deal is based on how the core barriers are found to be considered as important through
the use of BIM technology. Here, the construction industry includes the proposal where the
emission of carbon dioxide from the different houses, designs and the integration of the material
will lead to create a single repository for the facility data. The BIM information management
system is mainly to support the data requirements and the standards for the proper building of the
information with a better workflow. There are data definition processes with the data stability
that focus on interchanging the information with the sender and receiver.(Zhao et al., 2017).
The multi-disciplinary methods are for the academic fields or the professional standards of
learning. BIM also works with the proper performance evaluation and allowing the site worker to
work on the personal computers and accessing the design information to capture the work
quality. The development of the automated system with the safety check is integrated with the
information for preventing against any of the fall-related accidents. The measures are related to
the space planning and the energy analysis which is set for the sharing in the virtual construction
system and the FM applications. (Huang, 2016). The knowledge management system is mainly
to enhance the construction related knowledge for the project managers.
Challenges of Construction Projects
The issues are mainly related to the processes where there is a proper practice related to the
knowledge management with the approach, ideology and the theory that is set for the different
organizations and the field in construction. The idea is to handle the information with the view of
different entities. Here, stakeholders are also considered to be the challenge with inadequacy
determining the risks mitigation methods. (Han et al., 2016).
