Environment protection problem is a big concern for everyone, because of the reason that
natural resources are limited and pollution has been increasing day by day because of the human
activity (Barman, 2018). It is very important to take some initiative to protect our environment
along with government need to make some schemes and strategies which related to the
environment safety. Industries and company also make some programmes and plans which helps
to protect their environment. Company need to perform those activity which is directly and
indirectly helps in environment safety along with it is also beneficial for their brand image.
People need to take some initiative to protect our environment because it is beneficial for their
economic growth. In this report, the company that has been taken is Bio-Bean and it will discuss
the several benefits of sustainable innovation in the management activities and give some
important key points related to the sustainable innovation which give some ideas for the
organisation by taking some real life example.

Sustainable innovation helps the companies to doing some changes for the company's
product and services which support the organisation to generate the long- term benefits socially
and environmentally and that helps to create a economic profit for the company. This sustainable
innovation supports the company to make an innovation strategy to save their environment for a
future generation. They need to develop the product and services of the company and need to
invent some of those products which can be recycled and harmless for the environment. Along
with that the company should also offer the new products and services which directly contributes
to achieving their suitability plan and it also help the company to achieve their target effectively
and efficiently (Curtis,and Kaufman, 2020). For example, Bio-Bean is a new company who
developed the eco- friendly biofuel which is made by the coffee waste, this company use waste
and recycling their products to make something new and innovative.
Bio-Bean was founded in 2013 and it is the world's biggest recycler company who make
biofuel which is made by the coffee waste, this company recycling the thousands of tonnes
coffee waste yearly to make the sustainable bio-products. This is the manufacturing industry and

their headquarters are in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and they are specialities in recycling the
waste products such as coffee grounds and it is the sustainable materials manufacturing and
circular in the economy (Tu,Hu, and Shen, 2019). The UK people drink 98 million cups coffee
daily and create the million of quarter spent in coffee grounds every year and this coffee waste is
not only harm the environment but it is also a costly method of waste recycling (Gupta, Kusi-
Sarpong, and Rezaei, 2020). This company is working for the existing the infrastructure which
collect the coffee grounds for their business at every scale along with the recycle these coffee
waste into the different sustainable products for the industries. Bio-Bean company main motive
is to reduce the waste and try to recycle the wastages product which create the big difference for
the world by suitability innovating the coffee waste, a save the environment for their future
generation.
Importance of Sustainable Development
This factors helps the company to preserving the environment and natural resources to
maintain the balance between the human and nature for the economy. This concept helps to the
environmental sustainable economic growth along with its support to maintain the proper
balance between the environmental, economic and social needs. Now we have seen that the lots
of countries invest their money in recycling the waste process and try to save their natural
resources for the future and they need sustainable development to save their environment and
economic growth.
Using the available resources effectively and efficiently- Company need to use their
resources in proper manner they need to avoid plastic bags or those things which is harmful for
the environment (Harlow,and Chadha 2019). Now that time we don't have too much natural
resources, so they need to save this for our future generation. Lots of companies like Bio-Bean
and countries make strategies and plan to using the available resources effectively and working
towards the maintain the ecological balance.
Helps in organizational transformation- It is important for the companies to doing
some changes to create the disruptive new products and services which helps to fulfil the social
needs and benefit for the environment. If the company start sustainable innovation so they
support to focuses on the doing good innovation and Bio-Bean should continue developing
sustainable food and beverage products

by doing some innovating ideas such as they can simplify their packaging and use some eco-
friendly packing and make their sustainable cost low and try to avoid harmful products such as
toxic bio products (Jankuv,2019). They can use safe recycle and disposal products to reduce their
cost and fine some penalties to reduce through green manufacturing. They need to increase
bottom line which helps the company to earn more money and increase their bottom line by
using the sustainable development strategies, they reduce cost and improve reputation and
performance of the company.
It helps to attract the new customer – Sustainable innovation helps to attract the new
customer, because people are more aware and more conscious for the environment safety. When
the company work on this activities such a green and sustainable development so it helps to
make their company more socially conscious (Orji,Kusi-Sarpong and Gupta, 2020). If the
company take intensives to doing some innovation to save natural resources, so it helps to attract
the new consumer and helps to increase their sales. Along with this is important for the
manufactures to seeking the government contracts and they don't need to promote their company
because social media and technology helps to promote their company for their green practises
and sustainable innovation (Salomon,and Markus, 2018). For example, Bio-Bean company use
the sustainable innovating plans to save their environment recently they make new innovation
plan such as they using the coffee waste to make a biofuel which helps the company to their
production activates.
Reduce the cost which is related to energy cost- Energy cost is the main concern for
the manufactures, and sustainable innovation helps the company to reduce these expenses,
therefore these improvement helps to support in annual saving and short- term cost reductions. If
the company use solar panel so it is beneficial for the production and cost, a solar and wind
energy helps to reduce the monthly bills and save the supply cost of the company.
Helps to boost the Morale and Innovation- Sustainable innovation helps the company to
maintain their workforce and encourage the employees to make some innovating ideas to
improve the performance of the company and achieve their target effectively and efficiently.
When the employees work in group and try to find some sustainable initiatives, so it helps to
build the team work and knowledge of the employees, and they feel more motivated and

confident about their skills. Along with the company also try to appreciate their employees and
value their work by fulfilling their needs.

We all know environment safety and health program is a very essential part for our life.
Today lots of people are spending their time in an environment, and our daily activities are harm
the environment in different ways such as we use plastics bags which is non- biodegradable,
cutting the tress, global warming, air pollution and so on I am also include in this activities but,
know I take my own incentives that I am not doing any such activates which harm the
environment. All these activities affect negatively for our environment which is not good for us
to, we need to take some initiative in order to avoid some harmful actives. I need to protect my
environment by doing some sustainable innovation which helps me to give an idea that how I
recycle the waste product and make some useful thing which is not harmful for our environment.
Along with I need aware the people that plastic is not good for our environment, we need to
avoid the use of plastic in any ways such as, plastic bags, plastic bottles, packaging for the daily
groceries purpose. Along with plastic is a non-biodegradable material is it does not get to
dissolve easily and when we burn the plastic so it harms air also get polluted it also damage the
soil to. We are not change other mind but attest I try my best to protect our environment, I take
my own initiative to avoid plastic bags when I go for purchase something, carry my own cloth
bag, turn off the light when I go outside. I also take some small steps to save my environment, it
is not important that other person is not follow the rules it means you also break the rules. For
example, if lots of people throw their garbage on rood, so it doesn't mean you also doing same
thing, if someone break the rules, so it doesn't mean you also break the rules. For avoiding the
wastage of energy and fuel, we can use solar panels and wind meals to generate the electricity
and use it. It is the most useful and natural way to getting the energy without harming our
environment. Companies also need to take some step to fulfil their duties which is related to our
environment, they need to work on this activates such as try to reduce paper waste most of the
office doing lots of wastage of paper. To resolve this problem, they need to encourage their
employees not to print drafts and emails because of the increase paper waste. They should also
be offering some ability to send their mails and documents in personal devices to make their
electronic review easier. They switch their normal lights to LED lights, if they doing this activity

so it is beneficial for the company cost and environment to, allow telecommuting which helps the
company to attract the shareholders and new consumer.

innovation in the business and they need to take some steps which is beneficial for the
environment such as they using the solar panels and wind panels to make an electricity which
