AI Summary
This essay addresses the pressing global issue of biodiversity decline, emphasizing the adverse impacts of human activities on the environment. It defines global issues as risks affecting the environment, political, social, and economic spheres, with a particular focus on the misuse of natural resources (land, water, soil). The essay highlights the decline in biodiversity, attributing it to land use changes, environmental changes, invasive species, overexploitation, and pollution. It cites specific examples like the conversion of wetlands to shrimp farms and the loss of grasslands and forests. The essay also references the UN Development Programme's findings on land loss and species extinction. Finally, it suggests various corrective actions, such as tree plantation programs and carbon emission reduction to preserve wildlife and create a clean and hygienic environment.

Global Issue
SUMMARY
The term global issue encompasses the risk or problem which adversely impact global
society over environment, political social, economic areas. However, in regard of this study, the
present scenario of ecological system, nothing has changed, every individuals still face intense
worldwide issues that directly impact over the life of biodiversity on our planet (Nurjannah,
2018). Along with this, the existing innovation and advancement in human life’s daily work
routine multiplied the threat of planet’s destruction as Earth is losing the ability to provide
enough food and water to many living species in order to survive for longer period of time in a
healthy way. As per the report, it has been identified that one of the primal global issue is,
misuse of natural resources (land, water, soil) by human beings impose extremely devastation of
flora and fauna. Therefore, for managing and controlling these dangers requires huge or massive
worldwide participation for protecting as well as generating a balance between ecosystems of
world.
ESSSAY
Biodiversity is the combination of two different words i.e. "biological" and "diversity”
which indicates to all the collection of life that are found on Earth (plants, creatures, fungi and
microorganisms) and also community which they develop an habitats in which each of them
survives effectively. However, the current global issue which challenge living beings to survive
for longer period of time is that biodiversity is declining quickly because of land use change,
environmental change, obtrusive species, overexploitation, and pollution. For all intents and
purposes the entire Earth's biological systems have now been dramatically changed through
human activities (Dadzie and Bosiwah, 2015). More land was changed over to cropland in the 30
years after 1950 than in the 150 years which totally disturbed the whole ecological balance in a
drastic manner. Hence, as per the given report, it highlights some of the human activities which
generated huge destruction within ecosystem of living beings as well as over climatic change.
Some of them are:
o Conversion of wetlands to shrimp farms
o In America, 95% of grass prairies have been exchanges into farms
o The diminishing stage of Amazon forest and many more

In addition to this, UN Development Program me states that the planet or Earth has lost
130 hectares of land and also lost dozens of living species every day. Due to which, it pushes the
life span of Earth ecological system in a limit manner and also cause various other difficulties
like climatic change, or weather condition, high degree of pollution and so on. Therefore, in
order to tackle over such issues in a better and impressive manner, the government and public
establishments takes an initiation to preserve the remaining wildlife survivance (Rizza C. and
Ruggeri, 2018 ). Thus, some of the steps are tree plantation program, reducing carbon emission
equipment or vehicles, generated awareness activities in regard of controlling the wastage of
food, water and many more. With the help of such corrective course of action, it enable
organizations or manpower to preserve limited natural resources for sustainable survival of
upcoming generation in an effective and efficient manner. Moreover, it also help them to reduce
the possibility of arising harmful or hazardous diseases over mankind and also empower them to
restore the biodiversity of Earth in order to create clean and hygienic environment.
