INTRODUCTION
The current report review is about the Evans family and their health issues and how social
factor and biological factors are effecting their mental health. Evans family have very sad past
which has affected the whole family, Mr. William have two children one is Shanice and Francois
they both are very young. (Himmelstein., Puhl and Quinn 2018). They lost their mother in the
road traffic accident. After the accident the family faced Several injuries Mr. William has
sustained back and neck injuries which has continue to cause him chronic pain and Francois has
been prescribed medication for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Shanice have biological
issues because she is living unhealthy condition and she has been using drugs, smoking and
consumption of alcohol. The report provides that how the biological and social factors and their
behaviour playing role in different life stages and ages.

According to the report, the biological factor of Mr William is suffering from a lot of
health issues after his accident back and neck injuries which have caused him chronic pain, big
damage to his mental health, social wellbeing, and stress. His social factor is his financial
condition is very bad, it’s really hard for him to manage his family as a single parent. .( Wilson
and et. al. 2019). He is 42 years old he does not have a stable job and the house needs reparation
and the house is very dirty, lack income and work, he doesn’t have any family and friends
support. Even he has a habit of smoking and drinking. The adolescent is that stage of
development when the child is so confused about is the role in the society and started adapting to
different lifestyles like education, behaviour and work also they will be very rebels if they have
pressure on their identity and most of the time they feel uncomfortable, unsure and accept each
other if even they are different from each other. ( Garn. and Lonsdale 2020). Shanice is 15 years
old and has biological issues because she living in an unhealthy condition, mostly feels
emotional. The social factor of Shanice going out and coming late at night, smoking, drinking,
using drugs even she is engaged in sexual rapports from the opposite sex and not following rules.
Francois is 12 years old is biological factors is not so good he suffering from many health issues

like back injury, depression and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Social factors
self- esteem behaviour.
P2 Discuss the role of different health beliefs in the development of health behaviours
The whole family biological and social condition is very poor. They cannot even
improver their health condition because of lack of finical support. The both children are in their
developing stage of adolescent and both of them confused and redbellies. Shanice loves to going
out with negative group of friends on the other hand Francois always is self-isolated and feeling
low and depressed he intake large amount of tablets. The health behaviours of Evans family are
really different from each other’s case both the father and daughter is addicted with smoking,
drinking. Shanice consuming substance use and sexual activity. The whole needs better treatment
for their health issues. .( Byrne and et. al. 2019). Even they need mental and finical support, it
was hard for the family to overcome from their past as they lost their mother in a car accident.
After the accident Mr. William and Francois had severe back pain. They should start taking
medical help and alongside the family really needs therapy, mental health nurses and
psychiatrists or psychologists for treating their health issues such as drug and alcohol misuse,
anorexia, high levels of stress and anxiety and other mental health issues. So it can bring changes
in their mental and physical behaviours.

The whole family needs separate attention from the support workers which is very necessary for
their health issues. Mr. William, Shanice and Francois suffering from different medicals
problems. Mr William should take treatment for is stress, back and neck pain which is causing
him for chronic pain, he starting doing ice and heat therapy, exercise, stretching and physical
therapy, pain medication and neck collar. Chronic pain is ongoing and usually last for longer
time period. This pain can continue even after the injury or illness. Pain signals remain still
active in the nervous system and having a control in his drinking and smoking habits. For that
proper therapy should be given. Shanice is very young girl who is still used in confused in her
personal identity, in a very young age she started taking drugs, alcohol, smoking and sexual

activity. ( Mahmoodi 2018). She easy feels emotional. She should state going in support group or
rehabilitation centre, so it will help her talk about herself openly and she will get a mental
support from the other peoples. Francois is also suffering from back pain and ADHD; he should
take stimulant medicine or other natural ways like behavioural and family therapy exercise and
meditation can reduce the symptoms oh ADHD.

Following the rules and regulation is hard task but it is necessary to follow in the work
places, but regulation is better way to make sure that healthcare professionals are safe to practice
throughout their career. It is planned to protect by limiting the risk while receiving the treatment.
regulations apply in very corner of the hospitals even equipment’s and medicines. (Dunaev,
Brochu and Markey 2018) They have certain objectives to protect the public such as protecting
the public, maintaining public confidence in the profession and declaring and upholding
professional standards. It is important to understand the rules and regulation of the work places
for a support worker.

The strengths and weakness of current legal and ethical obligations in terms of their
impact on the work of healthcare practitioners, providing the best care possible for clients
working with legally and ethically is compulsory for a support worker. It is the duty of a support
worker to understand that laws are designed to protect everyone’s safety and rights as a citizen.
(Dunaev, Brochu and Markey 2018). These laws are the basis of the policy and procedures that
support workers should follow in their work places such as giving proper care, understand and
apply the ethical codes and practices standards that apply in community services work and taking
care to prevent from self-harm, doctor and patient confidentiality, malpractice and negligence
and resuscitate orders.

CONCLUSION
After analysis the above case the Evans family has suffering from a lot of pain without
any support from their family and friends and their health condition is main issue. For their better
health and mental conditions there are recommendations to take better treatment for their health
issues such as therapy, medications attending support group and finding a stable job and
providing better living and health condition. Overcoming from the past and living the present life
in a better way. Focusing on the family and supporting them to take health and mental issues
seriously and helping them to face their challenges in life.
