1BIOMETRIC VERIFICATION
Organizations enjoys limitless advantages by applying correctly the biometric
technique. The economy of the present generation is quickly evolving and the advancement
of the technology has completely changes the way or the approach in which the modern
companies are functioning and is conducting the business. Fingerprint or the biometric
technology can provide a huge benefit to the organizations in numerous sectors such as in the
field of healthcare, government, libraries and in the universities and in other sectors.
Identification of the employee and the workspaces management will become faster, accurate
and will be more efficient in the fingerprint technologies. Biometric technology will be able
to automate the calculation of the employee hours which will help in the reduction of the
paper work and the amount of time that is spend in the reconciliation of the attendance
information. Fingerprinting biometric also will be able to provide the physical accessing to
the building of the company and also to logically access the internal resources in case of
enterprise computers and in the systems. Governments and also the company which is present
all around the world choose to use the biometric technology in order to combat the identity
fraud and the security breaches, secure all the confidential data, reduction in the cost and also
to improve the overall experience of the users (Bandara, De Silva & Weerasinghe,2015).
Biometric can be defined as one of the rapidly growing sectors in the information technology
field with the recognition of the fingerprint expected to be most dominant in the biometric
technology. The global market of the biometric is growing at exponential rate and is
forecasted to reach $23.54 billion within the year of 2020. Biometric provides a great help in
the Workforce management, in the banking sector as well. In the workforce management
companies or the organization will be able to eliminate the employee time theft and also it
helps in the reduction of the payroll inflation by implement the fingerprinting biometric at the
time of attendance systems. In this case the employee needs to be present in the workplace
which basically eliminates the possibility if the buddy punching. It also helps the organization

in elimination of the expenses which are associated with the production of the plastic ID
cards and in the resetting of the passwords and also loss of the cards. In the banking sectors
Biometric will be providing a substantial benefits. Banks and the other financial company
needs to protect the financial data of the customers and also provide safer and easier
transactions of customers. Only the customers that are authorized will be able to gain the
access to all the sensitive data with the help of the biometric and also to create a concrete trail
of each of the transactions (Kiserud et al., 2017). Fingerprint authentication will be providing
an irrefutable proof of the employee and the customers transactions helps to save millions of
the dollars that are basically lost by the companies every year in cases of the financial frauds.
