1. Executive Summary
This report is related to the implementation of the process of "Biometrics" for enhancing the
security. The Bank of Queensland which is a bank of Australia that serves people from last
several years but faces problems due to lack of security aspects. The implementation of Iris
Scanners, Fingerprint scanners is some of the biometric methods that would be utilised for the

(CTO), the responsibility is to assess the “Biometrics” and produce a feasibility report that helps
in understanding the requirements for implementing the biometric technology. The value
proposition of the project will also be provided (Stanford 2013).

2. Introduction
The objective of this report is to analyse the process for “Biometrics”. The steps for applying in
the “Biometric” process will be provided in this report. The use case diagram representing the
functionality of the project will also be provided with the help of an effective tool. This report
will determine the security vulnerabilities associated in the operations of Banks of Queensland
(BQ). This report will perform an effective feasibility analysis of the biometric process and
prepare a use case diagram for representing the business activities in an appropriate way. The
suitability of this process has been made approved from the Assignment 1 that ensures that this
biometric process is suitable to be used by Banks of Queensland for enhancing the security
(Bajpai & Johari 2017).
This analysis of the cost/benefits of this process will also be performed and roadmap of services
will also be implemented for Biometrics process. The report will be outlined properly and the
implementation of this project will be provided with the use of design thinking that leads to
innovation. The design thinking process applied to the process of “Biometrics” will be presented.
The viability of the project is validated and recommendations are provided in order to make
enhancement in the implementation process and security aspects of the Biometrics in Banks of

3. Using Design Thinking as the methodology develop an implementation plan to take

4. Apply the different steps in the process to “Biometrics”
4.1 Outline the design thinking process
Strategy does not only include commitment, but also the imposed policies, behaviour that
facilitates in effective accomplishment of targets. Innovative strategy help in bringing digital
innovation and complexity is incorporated into the decision-making of managers with the help of
Cynefin Framework (Kowark & Plattner 2012).
There are certain principles that should be followed for design thinking framework.
There should be concentration on the experiences of users, their behaviour would be
observed for making conclusions (Kowark et al. 2014).
Creation of models in order to scrutinize complex issues and with the help of prototypes,
validation, verification and refining is performed.
The failure needs to be tolerated and as the process is iterative therefore when the process
implemented, again and again, the chance of failure gets reduced.
