The self-assessment results from the Laureate Professional Assessment (LPA)
presents an actual outcome of the personal traits. These outcomes have a clear cut on the
individual as well as collaborative involvements and their results. Although some parts of
the assessment seem to present poor results, I wholeheartedly agree with these outcomes.
As much as I would like to show a distinctive personality, it is essential to have a clear
picture of how well I perform in the presence of others and my ability to accept the weak
areas. This will help in creating a transformative way and ensure that I improve on those
sectors.
From the assessment, I have discovered that there are two areas of concern that
require improvement. The first one is on working with others especially new people. The
score in this competence indicates that I have not engaged in knowing the team members
well before starting to work with them. This point directly points to my character of
always giving people their space and refraining from too much personal contact. This
competency factor requires that I should take sufficient time to get acquainted with the
team members so that we get along (Doyle, 2019). Therefore, I have learned that I need
to involve the others in my interests and know them well to promote a better working
experience.
Secondly, the issue of adapting to change has critically affected my LPA results. I
have always trusted in my way of operating while determining new methods as forms of
distraction which may limit my productivity (Goldsmith, 2016). The outcome of this

educational activities which enhance the knowledge about personal skills and abilities. I
have participated in multiple studies which have boosted my skills thus enabling me to be
more productive in my activities. The extra information serves as a backup for newer
experiences at work and in life (Cerdan, 2017). Therefore, this competence skill will play
a critical role in improving my status and employability in different firms.

similar to the majority of other people as it ranked average. This is an indication that I
