Marketing Mix is defined as the strategies that are used by a company or an organization in
order to meet its goals and objectives and also make a mark in the market. There are 4
marketing mix strategies Product, Price, Place and Promotion. The Product defines what
goods and services your organization is providing and how it will benefit the target audience.
Price defines the rate at which you are going to sell your goods and services to your target
audience. Place refers to the distribution of goods and services to the target audience and
making the service available where your product is loved the most. And finally Promotion
refers to the increment in the demand of the goods and services by hitting the target
audience’s minds via radio, advertising, television, brochures, reports, pamphlets and posters.
A company will promote its products, goods and services via social media sites as well.
Chosen Organization is Black Diamond Cheese, a cheese manufacturer company in Canada
(Bhasin, 2018).
Product
Black Diamond Cheese is situated in Canada and is specialized in manufacturing and selling
the best cheese worldwide. Black Diamond produces every kind of cheese like Natural
Cheese Slices, Shredded Cheese and Cheese Sticks. It produces cheese because now-a-days
cheese is a trending ingredient in the market. Everything be it pasta or tortillas, cheese is the
most wanted ingredient. So manufacturing fresh cheese and selling will create more demand
among the target audience which will also help in the growth of the organization.
Price
Black Diamond Cheddar Cheese weighing 907gms costs $11.97 which is in Indian Rupee is
Rs.764. As compared to other cheese companies, Black Diamond Produces natural and fresh

cheese to its customers and therefore this product creates more demand in the market. The
price is also reasonable because freshly manufactured cheese is highly expensive. Cheddar
Cheese is very much in demand as compared to the Cheese Sticks and Natural Cheese.
Therefore, the price will create more demand and will increase the sales as well. (Bhasin, H.

Place
Distribution Strategies are the distribution strategies used by the company in order to
distribute their products, goods and services in the market. Two types of distribution
strategies are used by the Black Diamond Cheese are direct and indirect method (Išoraitė,
2016)
Direct Method- Black Diamond Cheese uses its online portal for selling its cheese to the
people. They are directly selling through their website. The people can login their website
and can buy all varieties of cheese they are producing.
Indirect Method- Black diamond Cheese avail their stocks on online shopping stores and
normal stores where people can go and buy their favourite cheese. Also, their responsibility is
to provide all types of cheese in the stores so that the customers don’t have to wait for the
product and they can buy whenever they want.
Promotion
Promoting is done online and offline both. All the schemes and discounts are advertised and
promoted. Brochures, pamphlets, posters, radio and television advertising is done in order to
attract the target audience and increasing the demand of the customers (Išoraitė, 2016)
