Introduction
In the 21st century, the organizations are dealing with various dynamic and exciting challenges in
the business. In the international market, the companies are needed to adopt strategic planning,
and this is only the way through which the organizations can become strategically competitive in
the world of business. The ultimate goal of the business strategies is proved to be challenging for
the large as well as the small firms. The paper focuses towards the comparison among the
organizations by their strategy, initiatives, goals, and targets as well as significant gap. The
approach and the aim of the corporate sectors involve the actions, and decisions as well as
commitments.
Identification and Analysis
Initiatives -The Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework (IP&R) launched in the year
2009 by the government of New South Wales. The primary purpose of this initiative is to
develop long-term economic sustainability, management of the resources, public meeting and
executive strategies in the local government of Blacktown Council (Maron et al., 2015). This
program has opened the road for the councils and societies to better cooperate in strategy for the
future for their regions.
The Canterbury Bankstown City Council would carry as a strong supporter for developing the
transportation system of the City and work together with the government of New South Wales
for creating a good transport system and facilities.
The IP&R of the Campbell City identifies the distinctive place of the local government as the
only organization concerned with every aspect of the local region (Salamovska and Todorovska,
2016). It enacts the role of the council as the leading supporter of the societies for every problem.
The development of the strategic initiatives by any of the firm helps in achieving the business
goals throughout the concerned competitive market areas. In this case, Blacktown Council has
adopted the initiative to develop longer term economic sustainability as compared with Campbell
town City and Canterbury Council. The development of the longer term of economic
sustainability will help in evaluating the effectiveness throughout various societies and also the
organization is enhance the concerned management processes of the resources.

Goals –The Delivery Program for the year 2017-2021, recognizes the goals the Blacktown
Council has promised to offer facilities to the societies for the next four years (McBride et al.,
2016). It also formulated the particular significances and actions to make these goals successful
as well as the facilities, yearly financial plans, taxes and payments and charges of the whole year.
The Delivery Program of the CB City for the year 2018-2028 recognizes the actions which the
Canterbury Bankstown City Council should take to make sure that it is carrying on its duty in
offering the Vison for the City and the expectations of the society for the next ten years ( Long,
Charles, and Stephenson, 2015). It had concentrated on the views, destinations, and changes
defined in the CB City.
The Delivery Program of Campbelltown City Council for the year 2017-2021 would give more
data about the societies and success of the corporations for the next four years (Niewolny, and
Lillard, 2016). The program would connect with the results and policies of the facilities and
operational fields of the Council. Collection of the proper and accurate data will help the firm in

Strategies-The Asset Management Strategy has incorporated the planning which the Blacktown
Council needed to develop their resource and project management (Kabisch, Qureshi and Haase,

and summarizes the planning of risk management for these resources. Moreover, this planning

consulting with the society and have been made to develop an energetic city which the
government and other shareholders would carry on to create a prosperous nation (Rogers et al.,
2015). This plans would help to recognize their steps and developments compared to the method.
The comparison of the strategies between the organizations evaluates the fact that Blacktown
council reveals their asset management strategy in order to enhance the overall execution of their

work procedures as per the satisfaction of the customers. Moreover, they require to develop the
strategies concerning the resource and the project management.
Targets – The targets of the government of Blacktown Council is to recognize the capital,
resources, and people needed by the Council to keep their promises for the next ten years. There
is also a plan to make sure the Council has sufficient money and workable firm to fulfill the
expectations of the society at the level of their facilities (Kasim et al., 2014).
The targets of Canterbury City Council aims for the developments that the City has constantly
taken care of and meet the needs of conveniences of the people of Canterbury to make sure that
the present and the future of the City would carry on to be flourishing, vibrant and real.
The Operational Plan for the year 2018-2019 targets to make sure that the city of Campbelltown
is fully ready for the prospects as an essential area of the facility of the Macarthur Zone
(Wessels, 2018). The Council would offer many plans to satisfy the demands of the community.
Arrangement of the different prospects is of great importance and the organization is looking to
increase the reliability of the work procedures to get compiled with future projects.
Recommendations of Actions and Processes for the Blacktown Council
 The Blacktown Council are needed to inform the society on a regular basis at every level
of their strategies. This information should have the six months reports of the main
actions in the Delivery Program, Yearly report of the successful execution of Delivery
Program and Reports of the successful performance of Community Strategic Plan for four
years.
 The Blacktown Council should promote the atmospheric, financial and social
management of work to make sure that the government takes the present and the future
conditions of the Council care.
 This Council should treat and help the societies equally so that they could be in the
decision-making of the corporations and take part in the social works.
 The Council should continuously look for new methods and technical developments for
the improvement of the facilities of the Blacktown.

Conclusion
The management of the strategic planning for any organization begins with a particular vision as
well as targeted mission. The strategic management related to the long-term goals achieved by
the organizations estimates the success of the company. The above study indicated the different
actions of the various organizations. The companies are chosen as the companies comprise of the
competitive market share within the business. The different strategies, initiatives, goals, targets
and the relevant gaps of the organizations are discussed. Therefore, it is observed that different
organizations have different approaches as well as objectives to achieve success in the
competitive market.
