The following format should be followed in preparing the report
Page Layout
• The document must be word processed and must be printed on one side only, please u
white A4 papers.
• Margins: 1” from each side (Left/Right/Top/Bottom)
• Paper size: A4
• Orientation: Portrait
• Decorative borders, shading and other effects (including decorative clip art) should not b
used anywhere in an assignment including the cover page.
• The typeface (font) used in the text should be 12 point Times New Roman and for headings 14
point Times New Roman.
• Lines spacing should be 1.5 spaced
• Headings in Bold
• Use footer on every page including the title page and contents page (if used).
• The footer should contain the following information only:
o Student Name (left justified; i.e. aligned to the left margin) and page number
(right justified; i.e. aligned to the right margin).

GENERAL ADVICE TO STUDENTS
1. Individual assessment (Course work) should be presented in a ‘Report’ format
2. The word count for the assignment will be given by the module lecturer. The word count for
assignment should not exceed given limit (word count excludes figures, tables, charts,
appendices and list of references with 10% no penalty)
Example- If the word count given by the module lecturer for the assignment is 2000, there will
be an additional 20% word limit (400 words) which can be used.

information search. Students are required to identify the issues or problems for which they must
describe, analyze, and discuss in the assignment.

date (NOT NECESSARY).
19. University rules will be strictly applied in the event of plagiarism and late submission.
Late submission of the assessment will result in a late penalty mark. Penalties for late
submission: Up to one week late, maximum mark of 50%. Over one week late, 0%. Only the
Extenuating Circumstances Panel may approve a change to submission dates.

Task
Blockchain is currently one of the most loaded buzzwords within the IT industry due to the
wealth creation of crypto currencies. Select a company that works on blockchain and discuss the
technology and the role it can have in other areas beyond currency.
Submission Format
The report should be prepared by each student. The maximum length of the report should be
3000 words. The proposed structure of the report is as follows:
