BUSINESS COMMUNICATION IN BLOSSOM CORNERS
The staffs at Blossom Corner maintains clarity in communication. They draft the mails
clearly through which they communicate with other staffs. They avoid drafting too long mails or
one single long sentence. The skill of clarity in communication avoids many communication
gaps and the exact message of the sender gets delivered to the receiver (Newman and Ober
2012). A good example of a staff having this skill is Alex. The mails drafted by him are very
clear and easy for other staffs to make out the point of his communication or the message which
he tries to deliver. He writes the mails in brief and maintaining clarity to avoid any gap in
communication. He always prefers to decide the key word in the initial stage of writing and then
organize all this thoughts around those key words. This way he makes his mails and handouts
well-structured and organized.
The communication skill which has been found in the staffs of Blossom Corner are is the
ability to understand the importance of including every service provider in the decision making
process of the organization the hearing their opinions. This skill improves communication among
the staffs in an organization since including opinions of everyone would bring a feeling of
togetherness among the employees, which is necessary for an effective communication (Samovar
et al. 2015). An example of a staff having this skill is Julia which is an operation staff. She
insists other staffs of the organization to include the service users and their family members in
the operations decisions. She wants their opinions to be heard and followed by other staffs.
