1. Project Description and Goals
The project is aimed at proving Blue Bank with their needs for a remote deposit structure framework. The bank
wishes to save money and time for both the bank and its customers through this initiative. Depositing checks
would become more convenient as customers can simply scan their checks and upload them online to the
bank’s internet portal. The customers are required to have a remote capture account and a special scanner that
the bank would sell through various vendors. The project team is meant to design and develop the website that
would manage the whole process and would provide 24/7 customer support.
2. Deliverables
The deliverables for the project are as follows:
 Requirement Documents: Clearly list down all the requirements as mentioned by the respective
operation-control duty holders from the bank (Wiegers, & Beatty 2013).
 Website Re-design plan: The existing website of the bank is needed to be redesigned according
to the current needs. The system must also be user-friendly.
 Policy Documentation: Enlist all banking norms and policies of the respective bank.
 Development of RDC account portal: To develop the online portal for customers to access and
create their Remote Deposit Capture accounts.
 FTP server- The server must have FTP enabled to accept the scanned and uploaded copy of the

checks and store them for future referrals (Jalaluddin et al. 2017).
 Security Planning: Take and amend all necessary security measures in order to protect
customer and bank’s private and financial data. Avoiding digital check forgery should also
kept in mind (Gjomemo et al. 2014).
 The Scanner’s Software: The software that the scanner would behold must have the ability to
read or process necessary information from the images of the checks it scans.
 Final Documentation: To create a clear understanding of the whole project including its
requirements, building and resources.

Change Management
A change request plan must have certain sections to be filled up by every concerned
individual. Change description, reasons, impacts and suggestions should all be listed in the
changes form. The project employees, who are involved with the change management
facilities must dutifully analyze every detail of the forms that are submitted. It would be best
to maintain an online forum on the website for this. This would help the company to deal
with the client and customer concerns with more haste. Once the proposed changes are
analyzed, the project team must sit for meeting with the Blue Bank management to figure out
the way to the future with the project (Hayes 2014).
