Attractions
The mountains lie west of Sydney named
due to many eucalyptus tree that protect
over half a million acres of wilderness. The
forest contains great attractive features
including:
 Waterfalls
 Aboriginal rock paintings
 Hiking trails
 Waterfalls
 Katoomba Scenic Railway
 Rock climbing and mountain biking

Amenities
There are a number of amenities to make
your stay conformable at BMNP. The
government has offered free camping
grounds known as Old Ford Reserve in
Megalong Valley (Daly, p. 52). Some of the
hotels found in the New South Wales
include: Blue Mountains National Park
hotel, Blackheath Holiday Cabins, Kubba
Roonga Guesthouse, Gardners Inn Hotel,
Secrets Hideaway and Clan william hotel.
Similarly, there are many other tourist
operators offering tour guide at a fee.

Access
There is variety of transport system to the
park. The popular transport for accessing
park is by car (Hardiman and Burgin, p.
264). A number of coach company offers
transport from Sydney to park. One can also
catch a train to Blue mountains.
Ancillary services
There are a number of banks, good
telecommunication networks, postal services
and news agents in Sydney (Given, p. 541).
