INTRODUCTION
Care home is the type of health care services facility, which work to provide effective
care and accommodation along with the personal care for the peoples who want the the extra care
support in their daily lives. COVID -19 is the infectious and viral disease which is impacting the
world all aspects and facilities along with the life of peoples (Miller, 2020). Such as in context
to the health care services this is increasing the challenges of higher health services needs and
lack of the resources, that is contributing to this situation by impacting the public life. Such as
this is causing the lack of employment and contributing to the finical issues which further effects
the mental health of peoples. The lack of enough financial support to get healthy food is causing
the physical health issues among the poor peoples. Death of the love once with COVID-19
infection is disturbing the mental health of peoples, which increase the disability cases and
higher needs of the care home services. In this report brief analysis of the COVID-19 impact is
done along with the evaluation of different impact and issues of COVID-19 in context to the
care home. For managing the negative impact of COVID-19 on the some care, formulation of
the strategies and recommendation is done.

RATIONALE FOR THE RESEARCH
In context to the accomplishment of any research that is important explain and illustrate
the importance of topic and how it contribute to the specific area (Achmad and et. al., 2020). In
this report Effect of Covid 19 impact in care homes is the main topic, and this was selected with
the brief analysis and study of the health care system data and information. That how the
different health care setting are effected by the COVID-19 impact in different aspect of care and
services. Such as according Jennifer K Burton (2021) negative impact of the covid-19 is
affecting the care home along with the residents globally. The major impact is COVID-19
outbreak in care homes (Scotland), according to the findings of the data, NSH health region of
the UK care homes get affected by the COVID-19 outbreak caused the association of the
numbers of beds in the home care patient COVID outbreaks management. On the basis of Ipsit
V (2020) older adults mental health condition is get more worst due to the impact of COVID-19,
such as the lack family support and emotional support, due to the COVID guidelines of social
distancing
According to the Janine Clarke (2021) in context to the safety and prevention of the
COVID-19 outbreak within the care home requirements of the regular disinfections and
environment cleaning increased. Along with this residential care organisation are facing the
issues of employees retention because due to the risk of outbreak, most of the workers left their
job (Shinn, and Viron, 2020). So this has increased the challenges of services management and
staff development.
According to the Natasha Curry (2021) In England and Wales peoples or patient within
the residential or care home died with COVID infection. Approx 40 % of the Covid deaths
registers in the period of March and mid June. So this research topic is essential to make the
brief analysis of the key impacts of the COVID which affects the care home.
LITERATURE REVIEW

On the basis of the Praveen Duddu (2020) medical supplies stocks management
strategies are getting affected by the COVID-19. It has been advised to retain the existing stock
of the medical supplies in context to the measures of Brexit. Along with the medical sector
COVID is impacting the business, employment and leaving facilities of the peoples.
At present the health care organisation like care home are facing the major challenges of
the medical resources and services resources management along with the management of
infection control measures. Because COVID impact is related to the increasing mental and
physical health issues of the resents. Due to the lack of social exposer and family support, in the
outer world COVID-19 is increasing the cases of adults critical mental health conditions by
effecting their life style and facilities (Papagiannopoulos and et. al., 2021). The increasing cases
of the mental disorder is develop the challenges of higher level of the health care services
management.

On the basis of Kimberly Chriscaden (2020) COVID-19 has impacted the livelihoods
and food system of the peoples along with their health. This is due to its negative influence on
the corporate, economic and environmental aspects of the living. The COVID-19 crisis are the
food security, public health and employment and health or safety issues.
On the basis of Jennifer K Burton (2021) COVID-19 is increasing the challenges for care
homes residents along this, COVID is also affecting families and staffs who look after them.
Such as this has increased the risk of infection for the resident families and staff due to which
they can not give their best for the adults care. Family vesting is prevented due to which adults
with the mental disabilities are getting more vulnerable and increase the responsibilities and
challenges for the care home services. In context to the management of COVID challenges of
the service resources improvement is faced by the care homes. And due to the different sources
of infection challenges of the infection control planing and accomplishment is increased for the
care homes.
According to the Cristina Beiu (2020) in context to the management and overcome the
adverse impact of the COVID, care home services and practices have to make the effective
application of Personal Protective Equipment for the effective infection control. Which can help
in the control of infection outbreak and reduce beds requirements. Professional have to make
effective and collaborative approach in context to the management of continuous supply of the
PPE. In context to the management of COVID infected resident and prevention of the other

resident infection care home have to develop effective strategies, which should enables the safe
quarantine of infected resident (Bram and et. al., 2020).
In context to the staff care, care home should implement the regular testing approaches.
Admission of the new resident should be done after the submission of complete COVID status.
For the management of family vesting in context to the resident effective care and support care
home have to implement some strategies and measures of the infection control. Such as online
vesting is can effective and in relation to the normal vesting proper destaining should be
maintain. And for the treatment of the COVID their should be the proper management and
availability of the oxygen theory, dexamethasone therapy. For the management of these
treatment facilities care home setting have to maintain connection with the other health care
setting.
METHOD'S AND METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is very important part of the research this aid to research by
providing the specific method's and techniques of the data analysis and processing. There are the

two major types of the research techniques such as the primary and secondary. With the
application of primary research techniques, analysis and collection of the fresh data or
information related to the topic is done. In secondary research analysis and evaluation of the
secondary information related to the topic is done. This is involving the evaluation of secondary
resources like books, journals and articles (Novikov, and Novikov, 2019). Then research
techniques are further divided into two categories such as qualitative and quantitative research.
Qualitative research is based on the data information which obtain from the first hand
observation, for interview, questionnaires etc. quantitative research is the process of numerical
data and information collection, this is involving the descriptive and experimental research or
survey. In for the research topic Primary research technique is going to use with the
quantitative research approach because this will be effective method of all essential I information
collection for the selective numbers of participants.
There are the different tools of the quantitative research such as the questionnaires and
telephone survey.
Questionnaires- This is the quantitative research technique which involves the set of questions
with the choice of answers use to the make the statistical study of the topic and collection of the
essential information.
Telephone survey- This is another research method also known as the CATI, under this
technique research surveys respondents over the telephone . By the aid of this method collection
of the data is done through phone interviews (Bairagi, and Munot, eds., 2019).
ETHICAL ISSUES
In context to the effective research there are some important factors which should be
consider in order to prevent and manage the ethical issues of research. Such as the
confidentiality, Anonymity, informed content, data storage and avoidance of deception.
Confidentiality- This is the very important ethical factor which has to be manage within
the research process in order to reduce the ethical issues of confidentiality. According to this
personal information of the individuals should not be use without the permission of the
individual. And to manage this alternative names is can be use and real personal information
should kept confidential.
Anonymity this is another important information protection rules according to which
personal information of the acting personal should be hidden.

Informed content – according to the data protection act each and every information of the
individual should be collected after informing them about the task and use of their information.
Data storage this also come under the data protection act according to which
information should be store safe and destruct within the time (Dodds, and Hess, . 2020).
EXPECTED RESULTS AND FINDINGS
From the evaluation and analysis of this topic it has been expected to make the care
understanding to the COVID impact on the different aspects of life and how this is effecting the
care home. By the accomplishment of this research this will effective or helpful for the care
home practices in context to the control of COVID infection outbreak and health care services
management challenges. Because this can helps in the identification of key factors of COVID
and the supporting elements which causes these challenges to the care homes, by the aid of
which effective strategies is can be formulate to overcome form the adverse effects and
challenges of the COVID-19 impact. From the analysis and study of the some secondary
research this is clear, that Covid is affecting the care home by impacting the other
environmental factors such as this is increasing the mental health issues and complication among
the residents by reducing the chases of family vesting, social support. And the infection outbreak
is increasing the challenges of health care services management issues, by increasing the demand
of beds. In context to the management of all these impact care homes have to be strategies along
with the management of effective collaboration with other health care setting, in order to manage
the medical resources appropriately (Coombes, and Ryder, 2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above study its has been concluded that Care home is one of the most important
health care setting which provide the holistic care to the disable patients. But the COVID-19
outbreak and its environmental impacts are causing the adverse effects on the care home
practices and services. So in context to the management of all these issues that is important to
make the brief analysis of effects of Covid-19 impacts on care homes and how this can be
address to overcome. There are the various research techniques and method's which can be use
for the this research, such as primary research and quantitative approaches.
