We have provided a project which is based on the concepts of leadership and
management. This project is allotted among four members including me. In this presentation, I
have learnt about various concepts and aspects of leadership as well as management. I have
analysed that leader are the person who influence and motivate employees to work in defined
manner and managers are the person who develop policies and manage employees to lead their
efforts in right direction. I have added various leadership style and approached that are used by
the leaders to lead employees and enhance their contribution in attain organisational determined
goals and objectives (Nsanganwimana, 2018). I have learnt that, Lewin's leadership style consists
three leadership styles such as democratic, autocratic and laissez-faire learning styles that are
applied by the leaders according to business situations and requirements. I have realised that, in
democratic leadership style leaders include employees in decision-making process that motivates
them to come with new and innovative ideas. On the other hand, in autocratic leadership, leaders
take all decisions independently and team members have to follow them without complaining. In
laissez-fair leadership, leaders and team members are free to take decisions as per determined
situations. As per my point of view, democratic leadership is best among them because leaders
allow their employees to provide their views and thoughts in decision-making process that
improve employee’s morale and their contribution towards attaining goals and objectives.
I have observed that, in situational leadership leaders select suitable leadership style
according to different situations that are raised in business. It helps business to handle all critical
situations in efficient manner. According to my point of view, leaders ensure that employees
choose correct path to perform their operations and provide them guidance to attain determined
goals and objectives. In servant leadership, leaders serve to employees instead of serving by
themselves (Miller, Nelson and Phillips, 2021). I have analyses that, in transformational
leadership leaders inspire and motivate employees to adopt changes and perform in efficient
manner through provides different kind of benefits to them. For employee’s good performance,
leaders provide promotions, bonus and vacations on the other hand for bad performance leaders
provide them demotion. As per my point of view, it encourages employees to perform in
efficient manner and contribute in attaining organisational determined goals and objectives.
According to my point of view, leadership qualities can be learnt through developing
skills and capabilities related to communication, critical thinking, motivating and inspiring others
to perform and leading employees’ efforts in right direction. Through developing these skills, an

As per my thoughts, leaders should adopt demographic, transformations and situational
leadership styles that enable them to enhance contribution of employees towards attaining
group objectives with efficiency.
I have analysed that leaders are the person who inspire and motivates employees for
performing their operations in desirable manner and managers are responsible for managing
employee’s performance and direct to attain business goals and objectives through ensuring
optimum utilisation of resources (Childs, 2019). As per my research, I have analysed that the
concepts of leadership and management are differentiated with each other from various
perceptive. I have researched that leaders adopt the approach which is people-oriented whereas
management adopt the approaches of task-oriented. Leaders are engaging in identifying
employees’ problems and provide them suitable solutions that motivated employees to retain
with organisation for longer period of time whereas, management develop policies, manage
employees and other resources for running business operations in right direction.
I have learned various things from my own experience in leadership courses that helps
me to improve my understanding and knowledge regarding learning theories. I have learnt the
concepts of different types of leadership such as situational learning theory, path goal learning
theory, leadership styles and various other.
Second part
I have provided a project which is related to leadership and management. This project is

presentation in classroom. In the initial stage, we have divided whole work into various parts and
assign them to all group members according to their skills, capabilities and specialisation. I
analysed that properly allocation of work helps to complete project on time with efficiency. I
have divided work on clear sections and provide power and responsibility that help them to
perform in efficient manner (Koulaouzides and Koutroukis, 2020). We have decided our
deadlines to complete own parts because before submission I have to merge all parts and develop
presentation of whole project. I have observed that all these things help us to complete project on
time with efficiency.
In starting phase of preparing project, we are quite excited and happy as we have divided

I have evaluated all work that are performed by all members to check the effectiveness of

I have analysed strengthen factors of all group members and their weaknesses as well that
enable me to allocate work accordingly and helps team members as well as to complete their part
of work with efficiency (Penda, 2020). It is the most favourable factor that help to prepare
presentation with efficiency. I have developed various skills and competencies throughout the
preparing process of presentation such as communication skills, leadership skills, decision-
making making skills, problem-solving skills, coordination and various other skills that help me
to complete the presentation on time with efficiency. Communication skill help me to covey all
task and responsibilities to other group members and problem-solving skill help to resolve
conflicts that are raised among team members and solve problem for improving their working
efficiency and effectiveness.
