1. Learnings from COIT122007 internet applications
I have learnt various things from COIT122007 which includes the way in which
impulsive mobile cordial internet sites are using ultramodern frameworks. It has also enhanced
my skills of using open sources technologies to develop database impelled internet applications.
It has also provided me information that can help me to secure different applications by using
authentication. I have gained information related to markup and scripting languages, event driven
programming and databases that are used to create genuine global network applications. When I
was creating an online BMI calculator, I have observed working of online applications.
2. Difficulties while creating BMI with solution
Major difficulty which has been faced by me was slow servers and loading time,
inadequate performance of application and testing related issues. Slow servers are result of
shared network with different users which takes more loading time (Difficulties, 2018).
Inadequate software performance has occurred as the server is very slow and testing related
issues are faced as BMI calculator is a new web application and users don't have broad
knowledge about this. These difficulties are solved with the help of proper analysation of
problems and by ensuring that developers are using optimal coding practices and other
automated tools like code reviews. Another solution of these problems is the use simulated user
monitoring system which can resolve the issue of slow servers by reducing traffic from
application.
3. Views about application development
The BMI application required development as it can help to calculate BMI easily.
Working system of BMI should be developed as it cannot show the old values to user and
declare that session is invalidated. There is a possibility of inaccurate result so the accuracy level
of resulted information of BMI should be modified.
